A lot of dirt and showers that don't close. Prayers at 3 am that don't let you sleep.

This place would be very easy to turn it into a nice stay. Clean the rooms, deep clean the bathrooms and put some nice lights around. Unfortunately, that has not been done and you are left with an ok stay for the money you pay.Morning prayers are extremely intense and not to be underestimated at 4 am.

Absolutely lovely place and lovely host. We stayed for a month and ended up extending in the same place. Bed is comfortable, bangalows are spacious, AC & WiFi all the time. Wonderful warung with delicious vegan food. I've noticed some reviews criticizing gicos and roosters, well living on an island you should be able to take in the whole experience. If you're choosing a homestay don't ask for resort standards. If you can't handle simple things like high pressure water, periods of power cut-offs that impact the whole island and can be one minute to couple of hours long then island life/ homestay is not for you.

+Value for money.+ Location close to the harbour and+the lady owner is soo nice and owned a vegan warung (where you can have homemade pancake for breakfast for free and water refill)+ It's a open shower and the water pressure is strong (didn't expect that)+ The AC works- near the masque (if you light sleeper should reconsider it), if you're in budget and a heavy sleep choose this homestay- could be more clean

I would argue that Hello Lumbung is the best place to stay on Gili Air, especially for eco conscious vegans. The owners are sooo sweet, the bungalow was very clean and the AC was beautiful. The bed was big and comfortable. …

I had the Jack fruit wrap and and an ice tea and they were both amazing. Also, I couldn't get cash out so the owner let me come back and pay the next day! I highly recommend this place :) it's five stars from me!
