Scallywags offers a very nice range of accommodation. We had a small cottage around the common yard. It was clean, well equipped, with air conditioning and clean bathroom. The location on Gili Air is also great. Unfortunately, the reception was almost never staffed and when we had problems (e.g. the entrance gate didn't open one evening) no one was available. Then we wanted to change rooms because we wanted to extend our stay. Unfortunately, I got sick that day and had to wait in the yard in the sun between checkout and checkin, sweating and vomiting. The staff had no understanding of our situation and didn't let us out later or in early. That was of course disappointing.

Great location walking distance to the Main Street and boat port. We had to wait to check in though about half an hour as it was unstaffed. We had to contact them through WhatsApp which was hard with no wifi. Lucky our other hotel had dropped us and could get in touch with them. Rooms were nice and basic tea and coffee and fridge. Nice pool that was shaded with beautiful mango tree.

Quiet hotel, few rooms. A small swimming pool. Good location. Small private patio in front of each room. Small downsides: no staff present on site all the time, breakfast is 10 minutes walk away on the beach.
