ATTENTION HERE, BAD GOOGLE RATINGS WILL BE DELETED. SO ONLY ONE STAR FOR NOW!We booked 5 nights at Beser Bay and ultimately left after one night. The bungalows are on the water, have two floors and have three beds. The food was very tasty. Breakfast and snacks were even brought to the bungalow. The bungalows are located between the mangroves and you can observe great animals. It's really very quiet. The washrooms are very basic, for example there are no sinks and you have to get used to the company of ants, spiders and mosquitoes in them. Now for the disadvantages. The bungalows are surrounded by sea grass. When the tide is low there is no opportunity to go snorkeling. Unless you use the one kayak that is available if it is free. It's also relatively far to the reef, so even at high tide you have to swim for a while until you get to the reef.We personally had our nightmare when we woke up in the middle of the night with a lot of cockroaches on our bodies under the mosquito net in bed, even though we had checked the conditions beforehand. When we got out of bed in a panic, cockroaches could be seen and heard everywhere on the lower floor, so we ended up sleeping on the terrace.Personally, we are not cockroach fans and would therefore not recommend it.We were promised a refund of 80 euros. We have not received this to date and have been blocked by those responsible.

The bungalow is very large and new, everything is well thought out!The hosts are attentive and attentive to ensuring that our stay goes as smoothly as possible. The meals are excellent and very varied! There is coffee, water and tea available in the room. The homestay is located in a bay, it’s magnificent. There are kayaks available to go sailing in the mangroves. We had a great stay!

We stayed 4 days/ 3 nights. The food was really good, the rooms were really nice and the beds super comfortable. Really amazing view from the rooms as well with a lot of wildlife passing by. There was also a really nice snorkeling spot nearby. We went with them to find the red bird of paradise and the guide found an amazing viewing spot to see the birds doing their dances. We moved to another homestay in Raja Ampat after which was a lot more expensive and not nearly as nice in every way. Unfortunately this was all booked way in advance otherwise we would've stayed in Beser Bay longer.

Biiiiig (3 beds total!!!) and beautiful homestay. We loved the area to be at our terrace! It was really peaceful and lots of birds just in front of us the whole time.Food was good, we just felt that breakfast was not enough, but we had a snack after lunch. ***We recommend better to not have food at the room because of the location there are lot of animals, so better to eat in the kitchen area. They have kayaks that you can rent to go around the island and is a nice activity to do.Service is good but communication can be difficult, Anthony is always attentive on Whatsapp. Our best sunrise were there!

If you are like me, then you are researching endlessly to see what homestay is the best for your trip to Raja Ampat. We only stayed at Beser Bay, but it was great. My wife and I came with our 3 small children aged 8,5,2. The over the water hut was great with two bedrooms. It was the largest homestay hut I saw during our trips throughout raja ampat. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of electric outlets and a fan for both rooms. We had electricity from the generator from 7pm to midnight each day, which was enough to charge all our devices and use the fan until it got cooler at night. There were also towels for us to use. The food was great and my picky kids were always able to eat. I was never hungry during my time at Beser Bay. It was great to have drinking water in our hut. Additionally the huts looked nicer than many we passed on our trips. I didn't notice many mosquitos out by our hut and consistently slept without the mosquito netHowever, there were some mosquitos by the food area. I also never noticed any rats or critters near the homestay. Patrick and Lucia were great hosts and helped us with everything we needed. They even heated up water for kids to take a hot bath. The bathrooms are basic, but have a cold water shower. The location on the lagoon was perfect for my kids to swim in and we loved seeing all the fish from our hut. They have kayaks you can rent, but it's a little pricey at 150k/kayak. I liked having the option. It's great for when it's low tide and you want to go and explore. As others have mentioned, it can be difficult to snorkel at low tide, but we made sure to just plan our snorkeling around that and did trips around the area with Patrick. We did about a trip a day and had a lot of fun exploring the area, we would definitely recommend visiting the mantas, gam bay, and Kri island. I thought the tour rates were reasonable, but it doesn't seem like there are not set prices and could be different day to day. I also liked being a little bit further away from the more popular islands. It seemed like there was less trash in the water than when we went to Kri. I thought the homestay was great for our 6 night trip.

Such a beautiful place! The accommodation provides everything we needed, comfy beds with mosquito nets and a nice terrace with a hammock and perfect view. You can start snorkeling just in front of your hut and the wildlife is amazing. …

Beautiful place. We had our SUP with us and it was amazing. It might be a bit difficult to reach the reef at low tide, but i heard that they will have kayaks soon for the guest. Bungalow, location and food are amazing.

I stayed together with a friend for 8 nights with Beser Bay Homestay and it was very difficult for us to leave. We felt we found Paradise. The nature is magical, fishes and birds everywhere, starry milkyway sky and luminous plankton at night. They took us on beautiful snorkel trips close and far. Swimming with turtle, sharks and having amazing viewpoints. Also they organised diving for me.The houses have everything we needed and are well builded and comfortable. With nice views. The best at the end, the Family was so friendly and kind. They build a shower in 1 day for us (most of the accommodation don't have running water showers), after trips we found baking, tea and coffee in front of our accommodation, the food in general was diverse and delicious. They did everything they could to welcome us, make ours stay in middle of nature as comfortable as possible and happy.Thank you soo much, I will come back
