The rooms are really big and bright and also the bathroom holds a lot of space. Everything is clean and smells well. The food is mostly classic Indonesian, so no big surprises here. We spent a whole week here and did diving tours with their partner Olin dive. The facilities are nice and also the jetty is really big and you can do some snorkeling in the house reef. There are some minor parts why it’s not 5 stars, but they are still new so maybe this will change in the future:- no beach umbrellas or any other kind of shade over the deck chairs (it’s to hot and the UV index to high to stay outside in the bright sun)- No cushions for the deck chairs- a regular cleaning of the rooms would be nice, they will do it when you ask but I would prefer a regular every second day or something- another shelf and a little fridge in the room would be niceThey organize also the ferry tickets backto sorong and help with everything. You can rent a scooter (but they won’t tell you, you have to ask). All in all it was a nice stay and everybody is really friendly. And the best one is Jack! He’s a cat who lives there and he is so adorable.

Rooms were spacious compared to the other properties. AC's were not good enough though. General problem in most places. Waisai can get really hot so they have to invest in better AC's.The person running the place ensured checking with us everyday on feedback of the food provided.Good food. Decent mix of local and other cuisines.

We wanted to have the best possible experience in Raja Ampat, at first we didn't know which was the best area to stay or which island was the most convenient. After comparing prices, ratings and options, we landed on this hotel, Vogelkopf. It has been the most incredible experience we have had in Indonesia, we arrived at the best possible place. Seriously, don't think for a second about booking this place, it has a fantastic location, the food is delicious, the staff is very very friendly and all the plans they offer are simply spectacular. The prices are fair, the diving center is very high quality. They are always very attentive so that you have a great experience.As for the facilities, they are quite comfortable, the rooms are very spacious, they have air conditioning, a private bathroom and the mattress is very comfortable. It also has a dock directly to the sea where you can snorkel and see many fish and corals. There are diving options every day and they pick you up directly at the dock.We stayed 5 nights in this place and we were looking forward to 10 more. Don't hesitate to book here, it's 100% worth it.

The place is very comfortable and the rooms are very aesthetic. And for a place to eat and relax, the fiber is like in Bali. The point is, the cool and garden is also big and very helpful for the local community..Still always shining Vogelkopf Resort
