Very very basic rooms with commodities as few as possible. Warm water, no fridge, no wardrobe, no TV, no aircon, no furnitures to put things, no car park. No bed, matresses on a raised wooden floor, matresses and pillows were good.Nice view. The owner made a basic but enough breakfast.Too expensive for what is offered.

There was no electricity, communication, internet, the restaurants were all closed, I waited until morning and left

We stayed here for a single night and really enjoyed the location by the lake, hospitality, and value of this little guesthouse. We stayed in a basic bungalow with ensuite for 300 baht. The host at Ping Ping was lovely and whilst speaking little English made us feel right at home - she even treated us to some delicious corn on the cob that she had barbecued. Excellent guesthouse!

There are several places to stay in Ban Rakthai, but I've been to Ping Ping Guest House twice. There is always a great welcome, with tea offered. Breakfast is possible. The rooms are basic, but clean, and there is a shower and toilet in the rooms. The best of all is the location which is on the lakeside and from which you get to see the amazing sight of the mist rolling off the water at sunrise. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.
