This score is not only for the hotel, but for the hotel+excursions combination.*Regarding excursions*:In July we found Bromo Venture and decided to rent a room, since it offered us the hotel + the bromo +ijen pack and subsequent transfer to Bali. We told them through booking, they took note and later they spoke to us on WhatsApp to finish confirming everything. We therefore organize the trip counting on these transfers. We arrived at the hotel at 7 pm and found out that the pack was not available because Ijen was closed. Be careful, we understand that it is not in your control whether or not they close the volcano, but they could have at least notified us by WhatsApp or Booking. In this way we had to return to Surabaya by taxi (there were no longer trains available) and buy a flight to Bali, with the extra cost that entails.We would not repeat the tour to Bromo with them... the views are beautiful but the price is inflated and the treatment is not good. You leave the hotel at 1:15am, they take you by car to a place where you take a jeep and it takes you to the base of a mountain and they tell you "come on, go up it, watch the sunrise (5:30am) and at 6am make sure you are there." here we go to the crater"... that's not how you can enjoy the sunrise. Furthermore, without a guide or anyone to explain anything... There was only the driver who was driving.Then they take you to the same Mount Bromo and at 6:30 they tell you: "come up the volcano and here at 7" we stood up and demanded more time since it was ridiculous to have to climb the route in half an hour, which is... We finally managed to meet again at 8am in the Jeep.Finally, they take you to have breakfast at a place that is pretty good.Regarding the Jeep... It's older than Methuselah and it's also in very bad condition: the driver kept his window crank in the glove compartment and when he needed it he put it on and then took it off. Furthermore, the passenger door where my partner was was opened while we were driving (because it was broken), and let's not talk about the fact that, at least, there are no seat belts in the front seats (we don't know if there are any in the back). rear).*Regarding the hotel*It is a house where a family lives and has certain rooms in which they let you sleep. The rooms are correct and spacious, with plugs and a clean appearance.Negative points:1. The air conditioning was barely enough.2. The bathroom, being the same space for the toilet and shower, was dirty (various insects, cobwebs, lime, mold, wet floor from the rest of the people's previous showers, dirty toilet with old stains...). In addition, it does not have gel or shampoo, and it lacks water pressure... so showering... Just enough.3. It has a kitchen area where you can do little, but hey, there it is.*In summary*Mount Bromo is very beautiful and they know it, that's why they have these businesses set up. I would not recommend this company and I would look for a cheaper one with better conditions, because there are some.Regarding the hotel... For how little you're going to spend (sleep for a couple of hours and take a shower when you get back), it's fine.

The cleanest homestay in town. A few cockroaches in the bathroom and a lot of small ants. The air conditioning in the room with a view of the fish was ineffective. Too hot. The rooms facing the street were better.

I had been looking at other famous accommodations for a long time for tours, but I chose this one because it seemed clean and it was good.It is said to have opened in February 2024. It is a fairly nice building and clean. The bathroom was shared, but I was alone when I went so it wasn't any inconvenience. The family is friendly!! If I told him something uncomfortable, he actively helped me.There is a supermarket across the street.Since I came on a bike tour, the Bromo tour is not applicable to me, but I saw that there is a tour program explanation document, so I think I can connect you if necessary.Thank you, I had a great night!

Loved staying here, the home stay itself has lovely common areas with courtyards, large spaces to relax (very comfortable sofas!) and a beautiful koi carp pond. The entire place including rooms are very clean. There is a shared bathroom which is also very clean with hot water and very good pressure. Wifi is strong also.Free coffee, tea and water in kitchen area.Also an adorable little dog who is very well behaved.Owners are lovely, very friendly and helpful.Good value would definitely stay again.
