Muriwai Surf School have run progressive coaching clinics for intermediate surfers to MBSR for the last two years and it has been incredible! We couldn't recommend them more! The booking process is always so smooth! Their surf guides have so much knowledge, making it really easy for our surf instructors to find great waves suitable for our clients everyday! The vibe around the resort is epic! Everyone is so friendly and always have massive smiles! The food and accommodation is next level! It's a pleasure to work with Moon Beach Surf Resort and we look forward to many more trips there in the future!

My first tropical surf trip and was fortunate to be hosted by MBSR. Our surf guides were Nick, Mike and Poli who all went above and beyond to maximise our experience on the island, taking us to the best breaks based on the conditions on the day. As with all travel plans, delays can occur and I was unlucky to have my surfboards miss my connecting flight, however the MBSR team were able to provide me with a range of boards to use at the resort and ensure my boards would arrive as soon as possible. The food far excelled my expectations, with home cooked Indonesian and Western food, with fresh ingredients and excellent hygiene standard. The facilities at the resort were clean and tidy, and very comfortable. Look forward to returning next year for a longer stay as 7 days was not enough! Cheers fellasAndrew

Another year staying at Moon Beach Surf resort (2 weeks last year & over 2 months this year). This place is awesome! Brad thanks for organising my time here.The staff are amazing, so friendly. The food is delicious, homemade meals with some local yummy dishes, the rooms are clean and comfortable. A nice pool to take a dip after the surf. A big shared area with couches to chill and often with Bennie the cutest dog ever, watch TV, play ping pong or darts or read a book on the hammock.Surf wise, there are many surf breaks, and for all levels, it’s the paradise here for surfers. The manager Nick and surf guides Mikey, Aido and Poli are legends, always trying to accommodate customer’s needs, they have a really good knowledge of the place and surf spots so you can be sure they will take you to the best spot depending on the type of waves you are looking for.What I love the most about MBSR is that they make you feel like you are at home and part of their MBSR’s family. Thanks Moon Beach Surf Resort for making my holidays this year again the best, you are legends. Big mention to Soni, Hayana, Hifar and all the other staff members 💙

MBSR has an amazing crew that will guarantee you score pumping waves! The accommodation is excellent and the homemade meals are a highlight! A massive thanks to Nick, Mike, Poli, Brad, Aido and the rest of the crew for making our time at Moon Beach such a memorable one! We’ll definitely be back!

Moon beach Surf Resort was unreal. Mike and Poli our surf guides were cool and put us on the best waves that were on offer that day, the food was consistently good, and Nick and Brad really looked after us with bookings and whatever else we needed. Thanks MBSR crew!

We had an amazing stay at the Moon Beach Resort. Nick, Aido, Poli and the whole team are great guides and hosts. The food is delicious, the rooms are spacious and clean and there’s great vibe with the other guests.

Undoubtedly the best surf trip/Holliday i have ever been on. When over with my father. Scored the best waves of my life, surfing for 4-6 hours a day in beautiful tropical weather. The people from Moon Beach Resort were so nice friendly and welcoming. Our surf guide Mick was awesome always taking us to the best spot on the day and waiting around for us in the car while we kept surfing. Also having a photographer in Aido on the camera capturing the amazing moment on camera; Awesome bloke. Then Ben who runs the resort so kind and very accommodating always making sure you are having the best time possible. All up could't recommend this spot for a surf trip higher enough. Had the best time of my life.Cheers Rory + Rob
