Correct place to spend one or two nights before and after trekking through the jungle. We stayed in one of the wooden cabins for 150,000 rupees a night.The restaurant has many options at good prices and good service.The best of all was the 3 days 2 nights jungle trekking with our guide Jhon, I recommend asking Ahmad to book you with him if possible since he has more than 20 years of experience as a guide and made our stay in the jungle was 10!

We booked the 4 day 3 night jungle tour and stayed in the inn the night before and after. The rooms are very simple, but you can't say anything for the very low price. The food in the restaurant was very tasty, I can only recommend it. All in all, the tour was just great, great nature, lots of animals (including lots of orangutans), good food, a real adventure. We were very satisfied with our guide Iman, but we also met other guides and can say that they are also very nice and experienced. They have been trained for these tours for a long time and know the jungle like the back of their hand. Ahmad helped us a lot with our onward journey and even tried to organize one of the rare flights from the small suburban airport for us.We would like to come again and can only recommend this gas house and the tours. It's worth taking the longer journey to avoid the crowds of tourists in Bukit Lawang.

Had a very pleasant stay at Friendship Guesthouse! The room was affordable and met all my needs. The jungle trekking that was organized via the guesthouse was a true blast! Especially with great guides Kevin and Abdi. We had the chance to see 12 orang oetans in three days which was amazing, but also the stay in the jungle was a great experience in itself. Would definitely come back.

We stayed 4 nights at the guest house and did the 3 days/ 2 nights tour with Ijal. Our guide went out of his way to make sure we were getting the best jungle experience. We had a great time, saw multiple orangutans with babies and even the alpha! The hot springs were a highlight as well. We can definitely recommend the experience& staying at the friendship. Ask for Ijal if you decide to do the tour!

We had two nights in the guesthouse and did the 3 day 2 night jungle tour.The food in the guesthouse was very tasty and definitely recommended. The room had no sink or flush toilet. Otherwise it was big and fine.The jungle tour was great, especially our guide Kevin made it an unforgettable experience.

We stayed at friendship guesthouse and did a 4 day/3night trip into the jungle. Ahmad was incredibly helpful and went over and above for us during our stay. He helped us to organise our tour and specifically put us with Jhon as we had a special request to learn how the locals fish! Jhon was the most wonderful guide with good ethics and a love of protecting nature who we completely adored. He was able to show us lots of incredible wildlife and we saw orangutans pretty much every walk we did! Puti was our chef who was amazing and super smiley. We loved every moment from start to finish and can’t thank you guys enough for being so kind and welcoming making our experience super special.

We had a wonderfull 3 days/2nights trekking through the jungle with our guide Iga! We very much recommend this place to stay and find many nice animals, we saw everything and they knew a lot about them. Top place!

We used the Friendship Guesthouse as a base for our 2 day Juggle Track. The track was one of the best experiences of our lives. Our guide John was so knowledgeable and also a very inspiring person. We saw many orangutans from a very short distance (including a mother with a baby). If you are also planning a jungle track, be sure to ask for John. He has more than 20 years of jungle experience, speaks good English and his passion for nature is contagious.
