MB Camp is the best hotel in Singkil and the perfect starting point for journeys to the Banyak Islands. The rooms are filled with natural light thanks to the large windows, providing beautiful views. The terrace is ideal for relaxing and lounging while enjoying the tranquil atmosphere of the Singkil swamp.The hotel faces a lush mangrove forest, with fishing boats occasionally passing by on their way to the sea, adding to the serene and natural setting. MB Camp also offers a canteen with delicious meals, available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner upon request.Although the bathrooms are shared, the facilities are excellent, with powerful hot showers ensuring comfort after a long day of activities. MB Camp is truly a peaceful and comfortable spot for travelers looking to explore Singkil and its surroundings.

Great place to stay if you want to cross over to Palau Banyak.The rooms are located directly on the mangrove river and have a beautiful view from the veranda. There are rooms with air conditioning, which are highly recommended as it is very warm and humid here. The toilets/showers (shared) are very clean and well maintained. The food was very tasty and you get a very good standard for the corner in Sumatra. Laundry service is also available. Nice crew. We really enjoyed it here and can highly recommend it.

Super clean rooms and bathhouse. Probably one of the best places to stay in Singkil before going to Banyak. You get wonderful service from Claudine, she will answer your questions even after you have left the place. The one thing that could be improved is the food, it takes very long to make and is not amazing but not bad either. The cook on the MB Palambak Island resort is great though, he serves fresh food, diverse, plenty and tasty!
