Ranu is the man! Best food on the island, can check the wave out front from the dining area, and the in-house photographer Ardi will capture all your best waves. And the lobster party’s are plentiful!

We stayed for 10 days at Ranu’s, and it was hands down one of my favorite experiences of my three month trip to Indo. Everyone at the camp was super warm and helpful. Ranu answered so many questions about luggage and logistics before we even booked our trip, and was there to pick us up from the airport when we arrived. Ardi was especially great company! He showed us around the island, took us to uncrowded surf spots, and stuck around for hours to get photos of us from shore. The food was amazing, and Heru made sure that all of my meals were gluten free/Celiac friendly. Also, one of the biggest perks of coming in the shoulder season was that the wave right out front was surf-able even for us as intermediate surfers. I hope to come back someday, but in the meantime I’ll be recommending Simeulue and Ranu’s to any of my friends heading over to that side of the world. Thanks Ranu and team!!

Our unforgettable experience in Indonesia was at Ranu's surf camp on Simeulue Island. Ranu and his staff, especially Ardi, warmly welcomed us and made our stay comfortable. The camp's delicious food, generous portions, and the addition of smoothies or juices at every meal were a delightful touch. Surfing at Dillon's right in front of the camp and easy access to other quality waves by motorbike made the location perfect for surf enthusiasts. The stunning sunrises and sunsets viewed conveniently from the beach in front of the camp were breathtaking. Our spacious and clean accommodation with a private bathroom added to the comfort. Ranu, the 'Guru,' assisted us in booking flights back to Bali, showcasing his helpful nature. Overall, our time at Ranu's surf camp was fantastic, and we look forward to returning in the future.

I stayed in Ranu Surf Camp for 3 days where I felt like I have a new family there. Furthermore, hospitality and food was the best. You will never regret to choose this resort for your staying while in Simeulue Island. Hope to see u again bang Ranu and staffs.

Definately recomend this place! Right at the surfbreak!The food is insane, chef Heru is a legend, making the most unexpected fod on a daily base that tastes soo yum.Will be back!

We had the best time at Ranus. It was so great, we extended our stay and stayed for a full month! The food is absolutely amazing. Heru is such a great chef and cooks an incredible variety of meals and is also a really great guy. The entire staff is so unbelievably kind and attentive. Alin is a great dude, makes great smoothies and is always there to help. Ardi is awesome, always taking photos rain or shine, and the best guide on the island. The waves were so fun right in front of Ranus. Definitely worth the stay and can’t wait to come back. Thank you!
