Where can I begin… I stayed at Momos for 3 weeks with a friend on a surf trip to Simeulue. This is honestly the best surf resort on the island and I would highly recommend considering staying here if you ever visit Simeulue.Momo personally picked us up from the airport with her entourage and greeted us with soft drinks and chocolates. When we arrived we were blown away by the resort, beautiful but intimate small bungalows with an amazing view of one of the most consistent waves in Simeulue ‘the peak’. Coming from Australia was no transition with the western bathroom configuration, extremely clean and modern bathrooms, comfortable beds with ice cold air conditioning and fans. Each room has air fresheners and are cleaned and well maintained daily by her beautiful team.The food was way above what we expected. Three meals a day of the best quality produce from Sinabang picked up daily by Momo herself. There is nothing I can say about the food that was unpleasant, everything was so fresh and the common area and kitchen were always extremely clean. The girls, Tina and Noftie always went out of their way to accommodate you whenever you wanted to eat and encouraged you to eat more! You will never be hungry at Momos.Momo has a wealth of knowledge about every surf break on the island and is more than accommodating to take you where ever you would like to go for the day in the car and always brings snacks aswell as lunch or breakfast, she loves to take photos and will wait on you hand and foot to ensure you enjoy your day on a surf trip. You can also rent a scooter which is very inexpensive if you prefer to solo around the island and explore.Overall amazing experience, a personal host who goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable and at home. I spent lots of time with Momo, she loves her island and keeping everyone happy. I will definitely be returning and encourage anyone who is looking to surf in North Sumatra to consider staying with Momo. A life changing experience.Thank you Momo! I miss you!🥰

Momo takes a lot of pride in her place and it shows. The grounds are beautiful, the food is delicious and it’s all topped off by her ridiculous personality. Best surf resort in Simelue.

I had a great time staying at Momo’s. Amazing food, great location and comfortable rooms. She always look after our needs, know about surf spots, organise surf trips, and a lot more other things that makes a difference in the end.

Momo's Surf Camp and Momo herself are truly amazing. Momo goes out of her way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The accommodation is amazing and the food is incredible. She knows all the waves and best winds and swells they break on. Do yourself a favour and book some time here.

We all had an incredible 2 week stay at momo’s. Momo and all of the staff were absolute legends. The food was next level, surf was unreal and momo went out of her way to show us all of the spots and the accommodation itself was also great value, with AC and wifi included. We’ll be back! Yew

Great spot, great people, comfy clean rooms. Momo was great to deal with and always went out of her way to make sure we were having a great stay. She had a better track record for picking the best surf spots than some of the "surf guides" too. When we come back to Simeulue we'll come back to Momo's.

We stayed in a nice dual room with shared bathroom. Both rooms where great and clean but the top ones aircondition was a bit warmer than downstairs. Food and staff was amazing, they even made lobster for us twice. Location is only a short walk from the peak and both cars and scooters were available to check nearby spots. Highly reccomend.

Unbelievable experience. Wish we could have stayed longer. The villas are right on the beach, with super cold A/C and they cooked some of the best Indonesian food I’ve had including duck curry, lobster, Nasi Goreng and pancakes. Highlights included boat trip to idyllic island, waterfall tour, bonfire on the beach and lots of surfing. Thank you Momo and the entire team (Tina, Novee, Fika & Luna) for being amazing hosts for our week long stay.
