This was the nicest place we've stayed in on the loop. Very clean, spacious bungalow with an awesome shower! Our host Louise was excellent, she was very responsive and gave us a lot of information about the area. The grounds are beautiful, and the pool was very nice after a day exploring. She put us on to some very interesting exploration trips The location is close to town but very quiet. I would highly recommend this place.

The huts are very comfortable. The surroundings are picturesque . Bird sounds abound. Louise is a wonderful host and can provide insight into the world of the minority peoples of this region. Breakfast is a highlight .The pool is great for an end of day cool off and is in a beautiful setting.Louise recommended a driver called Mr Nope. He deserves high praise, being a very safe , informative, helpful companion who is a very nice person.Signed, Tony , part of Peter Bradley family group.

Lodging, modest open bungalows in the space between the ceiling and the wall in the heart of the grove. A very pleasant atmosphere of a village nature, beautifully decorated with tools and statues. . An outstanding welcome, with a lot of patience to explain and detail what there is in the area, in the town and where you should travel. Highly recommended for an overnight stay in nature.

Sang tong Huts, powered by Louise and Ying, is the perfect place to stay in Mae Hong Son. The service is excellent, breakfast is revitalizing and the garden where the huts are located is just purely natural. Since they don’t have a lot of huts, the area and pool is serene. The huts are just craftmanship and very spacious. The beds are comfortable and you will wake up with the mist rising up through the forest and the sound of bird. Louise is hospitable and knowledgable of the area and always happy to help, also when it is just a bit of encouragement. Thanks Louise and Ying!

Sang Tong only has 4 huts, but it feels expansive. Like you're tucked into a rainforest. A mosquito net drapes over the bed, keeping the bugs away, while a gecko croaks from the roof - feasting on any stray mosquitos. Louise's place is rustic, and that's its charm. You fall asleep to a chorus of wildlife. It's simple and serene.

Beautiful place just outside Mae Hong Son center.Louise is the perfect host, the garden is spectacularly beautiful and the 'hut' spacious and stylish.On your terrace you feel like you are in a jungle.Super quiet.Recommended!

The Sang Tong Huts was an awesome spot to stay for a few days - our only regret was that our stay was too short! The photos definitely don’t do it justice. The Shan-style “huts” are very spacious, beautifully appointed, and comfortable. The owner, Louise, was very helpful and friendly and the pool was a wonderful place to cool off.

I stayed at Sang Tong Huts for 2 nights with my family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children aged 8 & 10). The place was perfect - very family friendly. My kids loved the pool & the friendly dogs. It was far enough out from the Center of town that it felt peaceful & surrounded by jungle, but was also close enough to be able to walk to town & the market easily. Louise was a great hostess & very willing to provide advice about the local area. The breakfasts were also delicious!
