Great homestay on the island of Kri, the snorkelling nearby is really great. The sunset from the room is incredible. The hosts are very nice. The diving center is top notch, Danni takes care of beginner divers. I 100% recommend this homestay!

It was a cheap place to stay, the houses were decent. You have only have power during the evenings. The food was mostly rice and fish. The fish was very tough and not so tasty. They also gave some vegetables which were good. The owner was a nice guy tho, who took us on a great diving trip. Snorkeling near the homestay was beautiful with a ton of fishes.

We had a very adventurous three weeks here. Danny and his family are very accommodating and extremely pleasant company. The food had some variety for a remote island and was well seasoned. We had a bungalow over the water, extremely spacious but a bit lacking in storage space. The cat slept with us at night and we didn't see or hear any rats. When you are at the jetty you can see baby blacktips and epolette sharks, and every now and then an eagle ray or octopus came by. You can snorkel very well in the sea and it is only a few meters to the edge of the reef. The sunsets are breathtaking. Diving with Danny is very exciting and he does all the difficult dives with the small group. Unfortunately, the equipment is getting a bit old and it is advisable to bring your own. The communal shower had two cabins and each had a mandi with salt water, but you get used to it pretty quickly. It is important to emphasize again that this is a simple homestay, but you get a lot on offer. Since we were there at the same time as the one-star reviewers, it's important to mention that they expected a different standard and couldn't cope with the use of a mandi (they bathed in the mandi bucket and left us behind every time). contaminated water, hence possibly also their complaints). This place is highly recommended to every diver, the experience was unique.

We love Delvin Guest House! Diving with Danny is interesting and useful, he sees such small creatures that I would never see. Accurate and correct. Gives advice on when and how it changes for the snorkel in front of the house. Bandalina cooks very tasty. There are 4 G. Reserve by Watsapp in time.

Our experience was not very good in this accommodation. We booked 5 days for 6 people from Spain, two Bongalows on the water, when we arrived they told us that they were all occupied and that we had to stay in others until the other guests left. When they finally gave us the water two days later, we realized that he did the same thing with all the guests, they made reservations in the water and when they arrived at the homestay he told them that there had been a problem, or that he didn't have internet, of course. Everything was full... a disaster.Apart from all this, Danny is very unpleasant, he canceled one excursion without telling us, he was late on another and we couldn't do it, one day he told us one thing and the next day it was another... When we went to complain, he literally told us that he " no blablabla” and immediately he canceled our diving for the next day out of nowhere. Finally we ended up doing the excursions with Tina's homestay next door and another one a little further away that were great. As for the rooms and facilities, they are basic and it is quite hot, the common areas are dirty and nothing is collected or cleaned. In the bathrooms, we found LARVAE IN THE WATER THAT COMES OUT FROM THE TAP TO SHOWER, we ended up showering with bottles of fresh water. There is no fresh water in the bathrooms only salt water. The food is repetitive (rice, vegetables, fish and some chicken sometimes...) but in general the portions are good. The views are beautiful (but in general in all the homestays on this island they are) and snorkeling is phenomenal. In summary, the accommodation is basic and poorly cleaned, the bathrooms are disgusting, the food is not bad for one or two days, the treatment is undoubtedly the worst, I would not repeat this accommodation nor recommend it to anyone.

We are friends, who came with great enthusiasm to this place in February 2024. To dive and see corals.1. We arrived and no one welcomed us, we had reserved some rooms above the water and they put us in others inside. Dirty, without air conditioning and hardly any light, not to mention that there is no Wi-Fi at any time. Later he changed us to the water ones. When our stay is 4 days we are not interested in being moved on the last day. This is something they do with all guests, no one is there when you arrive and they don't put you in the room you reserved.2. The bathrooms are salt water, the shower does not work and you have to shower in buckets. In addition to seeing bugs in the faucets, specifically larvae.3. Cabins with cockroaches and rats.4. They make tea, coffee and fresh water available to drink all day, a few days later we realized that there were larvae in the jugs and several of us were sick.5. The food I would say is the best of the accommodation but very repetitive. There are days when they don't provide breakfast.6. Upon arrival we arrange the excursions with Dani. DIVING, SNORKELING...MOSTLY LEFT US DUMPED. That same day he said he didn't have boats and we had to go to another Homestay to look for other options. One of the days we managed to dive with him, the equipment is a disaster, everything broken, fins and goggles super used, the wetsuits full of holes, they told me that he will swim without a wetsuit if that was the problem.Air came out of the trachea during the dive and it was not pleasant to see how he touched all the corals and animals with a stick. It does not explain what the immersion consists of.7. For us, the worst of EVERYTHING has been DANI, he is an unprofessional, uncommitted person, in short, he is not interested in clients. We tried to politely tell him that we didn't agree with the situation and he said "I don't want blablabla", and left. We couldn't tell him what we thought was wrong.I certainly wouldn't go back.

Dani is so rude and unprofessional, he canceled our diving three days in a row for no reason, we had to go and hire the excursions with other homestays.

We stayed there with the family for 9 days, from February 1st to February 10th, 2024. At first, life seemed quite wild. The bungalows located by the sea are cooler than those on land - the wind cools them. Freshwater is only for drinking, and electricity is available from evening until morning. There are three meals a day. Lunches and dinners are very tasty. The climate is very humid, and it would be good to have soap or some other detergent for laundry. It is possible to order laundry service on-site, but drying clothes in the humid climate is difficult if the sun is not shining. Items that are brought along quickly become damp due to moisture and can mold if not dried in the sun since air conditioning is not available. We didn't encounter any rats. The weather is very good. Occasionally, there may be brief rain showers, but usually, they don't last long, and soon the sun shines again. I recommend taking a walk to the viewpoint - it's very beautiful. The availability of diving equipment on-site is limited. I couldn't find a suitable-sized BCD, so I stuck to snorkeling. Snorkelers can join some diving trips for a moderate fee. There is a beautiful and long coral reef right by the beach, with many different corals and fish. Snorkeling reveals various corals, unicorn fish, clownfish, sharks, and turtles. I had to fight a triggerfish once, but most of them were calm and didn't attack snorkelers. I also saw manta rays while snorkeling, from a distance of about a couple of meters, close enough to feel a slight fear. Actually, I saw quite a lot while snorkeling, and I didn't miss diving much. Since more serious fish are seen more often during currents, beginner divers may have problems diving during currents. The family hosting us is very kind and cheerful. The local guide is competent and can definitely guide enthusiasts. The nearest first aid point is located on Waisai Island. Local pharmacies there may not be well-equipped. First aid supplies (bandages, antiseptics, necessary medications) should be brought along. Telkomsel internet card worked on-site, but the coverage was sometimes quite poor. Being on Kri Island, you will realize within a couple of days what is truly necessary for life and what is not - I recommend all snorkeling and diving enthusiasts to visit this place. You will also meet other nice people from different nationalities, with whom it's pleasant to share experiences around the dinner table and participate in various trips together. My regards and warm greetings to Dany and his lovely family!
