Aldejus homestay was a super positive experience for us. The bungalows are super nice: a great bed with a good mosquito net, warm water shower (which is rare!!) and a comfortable toilet. The room was spacious, clean and luxurious for the homestays. The town near Aldejus was nice to visit, the beach beautiful. The food was delicious every meal, freshly cooked with variation. The people were super friendly, helpful and accommodating (the cute dogs were a perk). We could buy beer, coconuts and soft drinks for very reasonable prices. We did our diving with Tarzan diving, which is a 10min boat ride away (a lovely commute).Overall: we loved Aldejus and would definitely come back, a 100% recommend!!

We just stayed two weeks at Aldejus Homestay and we can only recommend staying here! The homestays here are just beautiful right next to the sea and the people here are so amazingly friendly! It has some advantages to the most other homestays in the region as electricity for 12 hours from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., a fan and warm shower during that time and a private bathroom with toilet and shower. The food is delicious and here you can even get a cold beer. It also has two little mini-markets on the island and you can go snorkeling by the near Friwen wall, a well known divesite.All together we can definitely recommend the homestay!Thank you for your hospitality!Mirjam and Benjamin

The owner goes out of her way to make guest experience the best possible. The food is probably much better than the average in the area, same for bungalow and local area is gorgeous. Real local people and real hospitality.

How can you not fall in love with this place? The welcome is warm and you feel really welcome by all the staff. Even the people in the village always smile and say hello. There is always something to do. At high tide you snorkel on one side of the island, at low on the other side. And it's really worth it! We spent a week here and could have stayed much longer! I highly recommend it

If i didnt had a plane to catch, i think i never left this place. We only stayed for two nights, but the bungalows are amazing!! So clean, super good matrass and.. hot shower! The food was super good, the staff welcoming and the vibe the island gave was something else. The house reef is very beautifull and there is a lot to see. I highly reccomand staying here.

We had an amazing time at the Homestay. Alex, the owner is very kind and helpful the place was very clean and has indoor toilet and shower with warm water. So far the nicest place we stayed in Raja Ampat!

Spent a week here and scuba diving with tarzan (seemless daily transfers).Probably one of the best homestays Raja. In fact, the food and hot showers are better than many of the more expensive scuba resorts I've stayed at in the region. Food was varied, with more protein at every meal than you could eat (eggs for breakfast, chicken/fish/ tempe for lunch and dinner).And the family that runs this are just wonderful. I was sick one day, and they checked in on me and got me medicine.Only downsides: there are a lot of mosquitos and noisy dogs.Hot tip if you are visiting during a high tide (ie near full moon): Otto can take you to see dugongs nearby. I saw 4!

Just enjoyed six nights at Aldejus, diving each day with Tarzan. Aldejus is a lovely homestay with friendly staff and excellent service. There are en suite western bathrooms with hot and cold running water - unusual for the area - good beds, fans and power from 6pm to 6am. Food is excellent and quite varied with fish, chicken, vegetables, fruit and more. The staff will make packed lunches on request for all-day trips. Cold beer and soft drinks are available but do bring anything else you want to drink eg sugar free soda and tonic water both of which are difficult to source in Papua.The island itself and Friwen village are quiet and peaceful, and pleasant to walk around.The friendly owner will help arrange transport from Sorong airport and various other activities during your stay e.g. snorkeling, birdwatching etc

Spotless clean place at a great location with private bathroom and running water. Snorkeling spot at Friwen wall is basically in front of the door. Food was very good and the people working here very friendly and made us feel welcome. Highly recommend this place for a short stay.
