Take an open trip and stay here for 3 days 2 nights.The rooms have front and back doors that reveal views of clear green water with fish, turtles and sea urchins.Breakfast is delivered to each room starting at 7 am in a closed container, in anticipation of being eaten by stray cats around the settlement.Between the 2 rooms there is a drinking water dispenser.In the room there is a desk and dressing cupboard. Tea, coffee, sugar and glasses.Bathroom with shower and bucket, no warm water and toiletries (soap, shampoo, towels, toothbrush, toothpaste).There are chairs for relaxing and clothesline.Because the room is made of wood and above the water, it often shakes due to the water current.Dinner at a restaurant with a menu of chicken/fish, tofu/tempeh, vegetables, fruit, crackers.

Nice place to stay in Derawan where you can see the turtles slowly eating grass and you can swim with them. Room is clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast is included. There is no WiFi in the cottage but the owner will share his wifi with guests at his house (50 meters away) so just ask him. Cocun, the owner, is a nice guy. He is willing to guide you to go to Derawan if you need to figure it out. He let me use his motorbike to go around the island and went with me to meet other guests to share cost of boat to see whale sharks.
