COCOKABANAS

My friend and I stayed at Cocokabanas for roughly 2 weeks. The whole place was decorated beautifully with shells and other locally-made decorations. We stayed in a bungalow with a double bed and a mosquito net and a beautiful ocean view outside our window. The bungalow also had a spacious “hangout area” below it with pillows, which was perfect for times when we wanted to relax in the shade. Cocokabanas has 3 outdoor toilets and 3 showers for their guests to use, and we felt like we didn’t need more than that. The vibe at Cocokabanas is very peaceful and friendly, and the space allows you to socialise with other guests as well as having alone-time, if you wish to do so. Coco is very easy to talk to, welcoming, respectful, and always very helpful; he often has good suggestions for good restaurants, and fun/interesting activities on the Island. Coco is also able to arrange other practical things such as renting scooters or ordering taxis. After having stayed for a while and seen the other places on the Island, although they were also nice, we didn’t regret our decision of choosing Cocokabanas, as it fit our individual needs perfectly. Staying at Cocokabanas was an absolute pleasure, and I highly recommend it to anyone considering to visit Rote!

Perfect location for those seeking tranquility but at the same time ease of socialization. It's like having a Robinson Crusoe adventure, living under the coconut palms on the beach but with all the comforts available. Excellent Wi-Fi connection: if you need to work remotely it's the ideal place to focus. In the evening there is always somewhere to go and meet new people.

Our trip as a couple.Charming place...the cabins are very well made and comfortable, the location is perfect in front of the wave and all the services; The owner is very friendly and his advice is very good for visiting the island...we will return for sure. StephaneMagnificent colorful and cozy place surrounded by all the magic of the island, its proximity to the sea is exceptional, you can appreciate the sound of the waves and in the mornings feel the wind coming through your window.
