The biggest disappointment during the entire trip to Indonesia. The owner is a very dishonest person.Encouraged by the positive comments, room description and photos, we decided to book the room (at a not low price compared to other similar facilities in the Ubud area), but we quickly regretted it.I will say right away that after reaching the place and talking to the owner, we decided not to stay in this facility and canceled the reservation. And here's why:1. In the description of the offer on Booking you will find information that you are booking an APARTMENT with a living room and a bedroom. It turns out that there is no living room there, just an ordinary (one!) bedroom, so this is a blatant fraud.2. The description of the offer included information about the kitchen (available in this alleged apartment). There was indeed a kitchen, but outside, available to everyone. The photo in the offer is taken in such a way that it looks like a kitchen inside the room. Clever! I have nothing against a public kitchen, but write about it honestly, don't try to deceive people.3. The offer description includes information about a bathtub in the room and a hot tub. There is neither a regular bathtub nor a hot tub. When I asked the owner where I could find one, I did not receive an answer.4. Wifi in the room had no coverage. You had to go outside to get the signal.5. The "terrace" is actually a piece of floor in front of the entrance to the room and shared with another room. One table, two chairs for two rooms. Should we share one? :)6. The room (not an apartment!) is very dark, it feels like a basement.7. Opposite our room there was a communal kitchen and a storeroom for towels, bedding, etc. Also from the room we had an incredibly heavenly view and company - several people (I think it was the owners' family) who were sitting there all the time, right under our window, so there was also no privacy .8. 4 meters from the door of the room, renovation work was taking place in the home temple and tiles were being cut there. Also resting accompanied by the sounds of a working saw :)Of course, I wouldn't be honest if I wrote that the room is ugly, because it's not true. The room is nice, also the bathroom is very nice. However, I am a huge supporter of honesty and I can't stand it when someone cheats on me, and in my opinion the owner is just an ordinary trickster.Of course, I started a conversation about what was on offer vs. what we found. After the first sentence, the owner said that he suggested canceling the reservation. When asked why he was dishonest, he said that he was honest and that this false information was simply Booking's fault because various things were automatically inserted there. A very interesting theory, this has never happened to anyone else among the people we rented rooms from. We lost time and money getting to this facility and then getting to another facility, which we had to find quickly (as you can guess, booking at the last minute also means higher prices, so we also lost money on it). Fortunately, the next accommodation we found was wonderful, with a swimming pool, a beautiful room and, most importantly, honest owners.Shame on you, owner. I know that everyone wants to make money, but not in this way, without cheating people. Of course, I'm also going to report it to Booking, because it's clearly misleading the customer.
