It’s funny seeing people complain about bugs and lizards! That’s the charm of Bali. My wife and I and our son and daughter lived in Jakarta as expats for over a decade, and been to Bali once a year sometimes more. We have not experienced anything like Villa Kanti. Pak Putu and his miracle workers arranged a gamelan and legong dance for my wife’s birthday and a fabulous birthday dinner. He paid the advance for her birthday lunch. His merry men and women Chef Hendra, driver Nyoman, odd job man Made and the other staff Ilu, Wayan Sri tirelessly served the 9 of is day and night. Our 3 grandchild didn’t want to leave. They ate like we have never seen them eat. Chicken satays were on call through the day. All this at a price that my wife, daughter and daughter in law felt we were ripping Pak Putu off! We are already planning another milestone birthday. Thanks Pak Putu and all your staff of 9 cheers

It looks great and the pool and living room are great, but the rooms are old and there are bugs and lizards in the rooms, I couldn’t sleep for four nights (one even jumped on the bed at night).
