A haven of greenery in the heart of the rice fields. Very nice, quiet place with swimming pool and magnificent view. The staff were very warm and helpful. Possibility of ordering scooters and transport directly.

We loved our 3 nights here. Ketut was so attentive and made our stay welcoming and enjoyable. It was better than we expected and so beautiful and calming. Our 5* review very much reflects what you get for what you pay for. Some aspects of the room were more basic in terms of the bathroom and no a/c but that was totally fine for us and for what we paid absolutely acceptable. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Thankyou!

Incredible experience at Villa Uma Ayu with adorable staff, attentive and always ready to help or advise us.Quiet, peaceful and magnificent place with a swimming pool overlooking the mountains, water points with water lilies and fish. This is by far the best accommodation I have ever had!Once again thank you to the whole team for this wonderful stay.

The location is very strategic with enough parking for 2 cars and several motorbikes. Very beautiful view of the hills from the front of the room and swimming pool. The staff is very friendly. Just walk 5 minutes, we will find a shallow river with very clear water. At night accompanied by the sound of the river and crickets. One of the best places to relax in Bali

First of all, the welcome and the staff are adorable and really listen!On the other hand, the room is limited for this price without being extremely demanding. Fortunately the exterior and the garden catch up with the dilapidated bungalows.

We stayed here with our four kids. The property is beautiful, and our kids loved the gardens, streams, and of course the pool! The rooms were simple, no AC, and things are no longer in brand new condition, however things were clean and staff were attentive and helpful. Breakfast was ok, not amazing & not terrible. Location is fantastic! Beautiful scenic area, close to rice field walk and some awesome warungs. Short walk to downtown Sideman. Staff arranged a scooter for us no problem.

Most :- The adorable and helpful hosts who offer a lot of activities and try to hide the misery of a hotel which seems to be falling apart.- Possibility of renting a scooter at a low price.- The magnificent exterior with water lily ponds.- Quiet place at night- Excellent massagesThe lessers :- Presence of renovation work, without notifying customers. Our plan was to stay by the pool all afternoon and it was very noisy.- Poor quality breakfasts. I do not recommend Balinese cakes which are not homemade, are industrial and ultra sweet.- Very little light in the room. Lack of light, especially bedside lamps. No air conditioning, only a fan. The accommodation can be very hot in the evening.- Huge bathroom, extremely dilapidated and unsanitary. We didn't have hot water the first evening, we alerted reception the next morning and they told us they would sort it out. Someone came around 5 p.m. to resolve the problem. Finally, the problem was resolved only a few hours and soon we only had cold water. I ask to change bungalows because ours is very dilapidated but they refuse. Also note, a broken shower head. Presence of a water leak from the accommodation above ours with drips on the bathroom tiles. Presence of mold on the ceiling. Tiny bathroom sink. No glass to rinse your mouth when brushing your teeth. Stains on the walls.- Suitable bedding but very dusty mosquito net at the top (see photo)- In short, the renovation work is welcome but I am very disappointed with this experience in this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at villa uma ayu, a few weeks ago.It was pouring rain for days, and the team has been lovely with us, helping us book activities and giving us advise on what to do, and sharing experience... We came to meet the locals and discover the country side life of Bali and could not hope for better. :)The rooms could use a bit more light, but that the only constructive comment i could say, the rest was perfect!

The room given to me was a hot concrete box with no openable windows. Just a bed and a shelf unit inside. No chair desk or sofa inside. No AC and far too hot inside. A very old dark and not very clean bathroom is attached. It was nothing like the attractive wooden buildings in lilly ponds shown in all the advertising photos on booking dot com or on the Google Maps listing. The floor is tiled. Outside was a muddy pool. No water lilies. I asked to be transferred to one of the wooden buildings advertised and they said they were all full. So I am a very unhappy customer - in my case they gave me a room not remotely like anything described. And for the same price. I left early after two nights after a long discussion with the "agent" on the phone in Indonesian. The owners are not on site and the friendly local employees are not able to resolve issues. They tried to do their best and apologised for the problems created by the false advertising by the owners/agents.The "5 star" warung has really poor breakfasts. Toast like cardboard, banana pancake tasteless and rubbery. Worst crime using powdered milk for the tea and coffee😱I never stayed any place that did that.I wouldnt return even though it has a good location not far from the river and attractive gardens. Am so disappointed. So be careful if you book here. It is really one star for the accommodation and food and maybe three stars for the lovely garden and pool.

This is the best accomodation we had all over Asia. The cottages and the garden is so nice, perfect clean and well maintained. The owner is always present, helpful, friendly and servs nice food whenever you want.Thank you very much! We will come back!

This is the perfect spot to get away from tourist areas in Bali. In the middle and of rice fields and green mountains. Comfortable rooms, good food, swimming pool is huge .Highly recommended for the budget traveler. Muy bueno el hotel.
