Great view from the rooms but very disappointed about a few things.The swimming pool is at the restaurant so this is open to the public. Sun beds are mostly of the time taken by the walk in visitors. The pool is also very small for so many people.The first night we slept really badly because the pillows were terrible, poor quality and old. The next day we asked to change them and they brought some slightly better ones. The bed is not comfortable and is quite small.No vegetarian options for lunch and dinner except for pizza.Nice place, but they need to improve some things.

We just had a really sweet stay at Bali Cliff Glamping. In the scope of a āglampingā experience, it ranks about in the middle regarding price and definition. It has enough rustic features to give it a light feel of camping but couples those with some basic luxury, such as a fantastic infinity pool overlooking the ocean. The units are a hybrid of canvas walls and a roof stretched over a simple but elegant bamboo frame, so, in essence, a ātent,ā but the floors and bathroom are made of wood. And there is the comfort of a modern-style sink, toilet, and shower. Each unit has electrical outlets, a portable AC unit, Wi-Fi, and a locking safe box. The bed is big and comfortable, and a lovely little vestibule-type porch is equipped with bean bag chairs. Therefore, all of the amenities of a normal hotel but with a romantic touch of glamping. All the pleasure, with none of the hardships. The staff (lead by the affable āOkaā) were super friendly and sincere, and the food was healthy and timely. The location, while requiring some digital map minding, is not too far off the main road and is near the fabulous Ujung Water Palace (Taman Ujung), which is also worth a tour, especially in the early morning when the volcano is a transparent backdrop. We highly recommend BCG for a romantic getaway or stopover on the way to Amed (following the less-used but beautiful coast road).

Seldom am I moved to write such a long review, but Bali Clifftop Glamping stole my heart. This stunning clifftop location, 25 minutes north of Candidasa, was unforgettable. It is an intimate, boutique-style resort with just six glamping tents, offering a quiet escape far from the busy tourist crowds of Candidasa. Itās the kind of hidden gem I love to find and one of the best places Iāve stayed in Bali.The on-site restaurant, Warung Chic, features a wood-fired pizza oven that serves delicious offerings day and night. Iām a seafood lover, and their catch of the dayāsnapperāwas fantastic. It was prepared with delicate spices and accompanied by thick, homemade French fries.Breakfast was a magical experience. Between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m., you can watch the traditional jukung boats return to Seraya Beach below the cliff- a truly magnificent sight.The tents are beautifully designed, featuring soft furnishings and wood paneling, and each tent has an en-suite with luxury amenities. Coffee time from your private terrace is a highlight, with endless ocean views and comfortable bean bags.Sunrise at 5:30 a.m. was something special. We witnessed a broad, bright yellow band stretching across the horizon for just two minutesāit was spectacular. And then clouds came over. At 6:10 a.m., the sun reappeared over the ocean, a mesmerizing moment.The manager, Oka, ensured all our needs were met during our stay. Heās a warm, friendly character who adds much to the experience. The attentive service from the staff was outstanding, including a detailed guest arrival tent walk-through (which isnāt common in Indonesia). They took care of every detail, making our stay exceptional.The pool was fabulous and well-maintained, perfectly framing the expansive ocean views.Dining here is top-notch, with a mix of international and local dishes. Each table has a small wooden bowl of traditionally harvested Kusamba sea saltāa delightful touch that only the finest Balinese restaurants offer. The breakfast was lavish, and all the food was fresh and healthy.I plan to return with friends and book all six tents next time.
