Hillside Eden Bali - Private Jungle Estate

An amazing stay in the middle of nowhere. Great for large groups. Andrew, the manager, is absolutely the best. He and his team went beyond their way to help in so many ways during our 3 days stay.

I stayed at Hillside Eden villa in Bali for 4 days and 3 nights in August 2024 with a group of us totalling 7, including 2 young children (5 and 3yo).We were looking for a relaxing and secluded getaway and we found it at this villa! We booked the villa through Airbnb and the communication with the host Andrew was superb. He arranged our airport transfer, our daily breakfast and other meals, and our activities in the area.The location of the villa is stunning. It is perched on a hillside overlooking the jungle and the rice fields. The view is breathtaking and the surroundings are peaceful and serene. The villa itself is spacious, clean, comfortable, set in some large well tended grounds and well-equipped. It has a private pool. The staff are friendly, helpful, and discreet. They kept the villa clean, cooked delicious meals, and made an extensive range of cocktails.The best aspect of our stay was the feeling of being in a paradise away from the crowds and the noise. We enjoyed the privacy, the tranquillity and being surrounded nature. The worst aspect was the distance from the main attractions and the shops. We had to rely on the driver to get around and it took a long time to reach some places. However, this was a minor inconvenience compared to the benefits of staying at this villa and its not a bad base to travel around Ubud, minus the hustle and bustle. Ubud central is around 3--60 minutes away depending on traffic, but with good planning and some activities fairly close by this was not an issue. In fact it made the break awesome in many ways.I can not emphasise how great a host Andrew was. From courteous communication prior to our arrival and constant liaison during our stay. He really went out of his way to ensure we had a dream time! His customer service and care were also reflected by all of the staff onsite.I would highly recommend Hillside Eden villa to other travellers who are looking for a unique and luxurious experience in Bali. It is a perfect place to relax, recharge, and reconnect with your loved ones. You will not regret it.
