Karma is a great place to stay!! Everything perfect!! Clean and you will be surround for many good people!! Mark the hostel owner is a good guy and always able to give you information about anything!! I will miss Karma, felt like home!

I'm not the type that is into hostels but this is the place that changed my mind. It's not just a place to sleep, it's the beating heart of the expat community here, and also happens to be pretty affordable. Location is right in the center of town and the owner and his wife are super helpful with a wealth of knowledge of the local area. Highly recommend for an authentic phitsanulok experience

We went to Phitsanulok a bit by chance, we had booked two nights at Karma Hostel... We stayed a week and we could have stayed longer if the weather permitted.Marc is a great host who is full of advice to give you and who manages to create a superb atmosphere in his hostel. He advised us on many activities (temples, muay thai, yoga, sauna) and we went to eat several times with him and the other travelers.The atmosphere is great and the hostel is just as great with its quiet areas, its roof top...We highly recommend!Thanks Marc 😉

Great hostel with a friendly and helpful owner. Good place to stop on the way up to or down from Chiang Mai, but also a good base from which to explore Sukhothai and other provinces and cities nearby.

A bit disappointed, a blast from the hippy days of the 60s. Brown bedding.!! Mostly we at least get cool white sheets if nothing else. The guy who has it was very pleasant. But could look at coming into 21st century . The room was clean and we slept well. A long walk to anywhere. One night enough.

Such delicious Thai food!!The herb omelet is amazingly delicious.I met backpackers from various countries and had a great time...The owner, Mark, is friendly and has a lot of jokes lolI really enjoyed teaching them about various sightseeing spots around Sukhothai, buffets at Chinese temples, inexpensive massages, etc.

I wanted to stay 2 days, I stayed 2 weeks. I found everything I was looking for in Phitsanulok (sport / massage / English classes / cooking classes / beautiful nature and good company).I wanted to stay a little alone after my busy day, but if you want to discover the city, the owners will be happy to spend time with you and show you the restaurants and the magnificent vegetarian buffet. never experienced such a welcome in a hostel. Head to this hostel and plan to stay longer than expected. I will always remember celebrating my 32nd birthday in Phitsanulok and I will always remember Karma Hostel. Thank you very much, it's more than a hostel, it's an inspiring life project.I loved the concept of donating fruit and drinks, I loved that the front door was open every evening, it was like coming home.Thank you for this Great experience and I am sure to come back to Karma Hostel, it's just a Karma story.Friendship Tarikwa

Mark (the host) is a very kind and generous person! I loved his attitude towards the world and life. He gave me so many great tips and helped me out! Has lot's of cheap recommendations. He knows the area very well! Feel free to have a chat with him - I'm sure you will not be disappointed!Hostel was great! Lovely people! Shower is in the same room as the toilet but it did not matter to me much as everything was clean, neat, and tidy!It is a really great experience to stay there! Incredible chilled hostel with fantastic atmosphere. Great for a stop between Chiang Mai and Bangkok, you will have a wonderful time walking in Phitsanulok - its one of those thai cities with very few tourists, which makes it very authentic. We rented a bike from Marc, although we ended up having issues with it Marc was all the time very responsive and understanding. We went to a local bar with him in the evening which was great. Also check out the Muay Thai class which is available through Marc. The roof top view is amazing. despite only having a few beds the hostel is very socially designed so in the time I was there I got to know everyone.

Karma Home Hostel is an amazing place right at the centre of Phitsanulok, from which you can go on a visit to the main temples and grab some delicious sreet food all in the radius of 10 minutes on foot.Nevertheless, the main reason you need to stay at this place are the very friendly travellers you will meet in there and the owner, Mark. I only stayed for one day, but in that short period, Mark invited us to a party organized by the locals in a temple, went to a very tasty food shop and finished off the day in a pub.All in all this is a great place if you are keen on socializing with other travelers, but also with the locals.

My stay at this hostel was great! I had a comfortable sleep and in the evening I hung out with friendly fellow travelers on the rooftop terrace of this hostel. Air-conditioned room is available. The owner was really helpful too. Recommended.

My third visit. Mark, the owner of this hostel, warms you up tired of traveling. He will also provide enough information to travel around the city and treat you like family. That's also why I visit this place often. His wife Mint, who has a very kind and pretty smile, is also the reason why I come back to this hostel.The rooftop of this hostel, a place where you can write comfortably, drink tea, and sometimes talk with travelers, is the most beautiful place in this hostel (of course, the Internet is also fast and free Wi-Fi). It's a quiet city where you can feel Thailand properly. If you visit this place, I highly recommend this hostel.

Mark, Mint, thank you for being so kind to me even though I don't speak much English. I love how these two people are so kind to everyone. I stayed for two weeks, and thanks to these two, I had a great time every day. This hostel attracts guests from all over the world. It was also a good experience to be able to talk to many different people. There is a nice local sauna near the hostel. I couldn't have gotten there without you teaching me. The 150 baht massage was also great. I was also told many wonderful restaurants in Phitsanulok. Mark is a mosaic art teacher. Mint is a teacher who makes bags and coasters. It was my first experience with mosaic art. Thank you for letting me know. Every time I see the work I made, I think of this hostel. Thank you for the wonderful memories 😊
