The Shanti Farm is located in a very quiet place. When you stay here, you get a lot closer to nature. I was able to eat a lot of fruit that came straight from the fruit trees on the farm. Here you become aware of the little things again. For example, it is important that you are conscious about how much water you use, as water is not always available in large quantities. In the city I am used to there being an abundance of water. Now I experience that this is not always the case for everyone. I really like that I live a little more simply. Although I must say that Wanpen's meals are really a great luxury. That lady can cook so well! Delicious.I can recommend everyone to stay at Shanti Farm.

Traveled to the location with my own transport and stayed 2 nights. The bungalow is everything you would expect for that price. It was clean and back to basics. The four of us slept wonderfully in the beautiful, peaceful surroundings. The owners of the Mr. Hey Cafe (operators, not owners of the bungalow) are super hospitable. Beers were even picked up on the motorcycle when they had run out. They showed us the farm and let us taste everything that grows there. They also cooked delicious food for us (the best so far on our trip) and upon request breakfast was ready at 7 am on the day of departure.

Very poor communication with the host who is not on site.I've really never experienced anything like this before.When we arrived, no one even knew that we had booked for 3 nights.There is no shower in the bungalow, only a tap, the bed is very hard, it makes no difference whether you sleep in the bed or on the floor.The food that Wanpen cooked was very good, she is very friendly.However, the restaurant is closed for the next few days for family reasons and unfortunately there are no transport options here.We feel compelled to leave after one night.You cannot book a scooter on site at the accommodation.The cave that is just around the corner is definitely worth a visit, but as a tourist you pay 300 Bath, but as a local you only pay 60 Bath, which was one reason for us not to visit the cave.The taxi transfer from the bungalow is also incredibly expensive 500bath to the waterfall and back excluding 750bath for the entrance to the waterfall (2 people).With our experience, I would recommend travelers to get a hotel room in Kanchanaburi and rent a scooter there and from there travel in the national park or travel by public transport. This is probably the best and cheapest solution.

Cottage-style hostel near Phra That Cave. The uncles and aunts are cute and the owners are friendly. Book through Agoda for only about 500 baht per night. The accommodation has no air conditioning. But the weather is good and you can sleep comfortably with a mosquito net. There is a power plug provided. But there are no lights on outside the walkway. Make the stars clearly visibleP.S. Come stay here and don't worry about fish and rice. Auntie has a restaurant where you can order with her. Or go eat at the restaurant of the dam's electricity company.PS. 2 Whoever comes here, stop by the Phra That Cave. Guarantee that you will not be disappointed.

We had a wonderful stay! We were very well received, everyone is lovely. The bungalow and the bathroom are clean, it’s a great unusual stay!! The kitchen, a real treat!!! Fresh products at very reasonable prices. I highly recommend everyone to have this experience!

This place is a breathtaking magic, held by a small Thai family of a hallucinating, adorable and joking joy of life, we were pampered as if we were at home, the mother is a cook of crazy and in addition it makes you great dishes in a short time and everything is fresh, frankly go there, you will spend a moment out of the ordinary and out of time

Recently returned to the UK after spending 4 nights here on a 9 day trip and can honestly say it is one of the best trips I have ever experienced. Mr Hey and his family are the greatest hosts and his daughter a fantastic cook. Missing them, the lodge, location and food already and really look forward to returning in the future.
