The beautiful location and the potential of this place is amazing. Unfortunately, some of the staff are rude and unhelpful and the overall experience a real let down.At about 7.30pm, just after the dinner, we wanted to look for wildlife in the trees by the river. As we walked across the bamboo walkway, we were shouted at and told pretty aggressively that we couldn’t leave the rafts after dark to visit the shore. You can’t leave until 7am apparently.The battery powered candle in our room (there’s no electricity at all) wasn’t working so it was total darkness in there. When I went to reception, the guy was comically annoyed by me daring to ask politely for a replacement. Eventually he got it working but it flashed on and off every 2 seconds but we were told that was all they could do.Then at 9pm the mother of all gigawatt raves kicked off somewhere very nearby, with pounding cheesy Western dance music echoing around the riverbanks. It completely shattered the “deep in the jungle with no electricity and mobile phone coverage” vibe the place is all about and quickly became really irritating and obnoxious.I came here in November 2020 during the Covid epidemic when Thailand was closed to tourists. It was a great experience. The second time in December 2022 was pretty terrible for all the above reasons. You know there’s going to be no air-con, no fan, very dim candle light, a limited choice of food etc but In return you expect a relaxed and close to nature experience - not to feel like you’re on a floating prison with the f***ing Macarena blasting out until midnight!

After few hours driving from Bangkok, we stayed one night at this floating hotel on river Kwai. We were here in 12/2019 and this place was very cool. As it is surrounded with forests hills the place over night can be very chilly.This hotel didn't have electricity and there was no signal, so for us it was completely out of the grid place. Loved it. Whole hotel sits on the river and it was very nice experience. Unfortunately at the time of the visit, they didn't speak much English so our driver did some translation for us:) But if you travel a lot you can handle anything :)I can imagine go back to this place once more. I cannot remember the prices, but it was OKish I think :)

We boarded the boat at Phutakian Pier. Informed that he would stay here He will ask under whose name the reservation is made. In front of the room is an oil lamp. The room has a bamboo cover and a wooden floor. During this time, the weather is nice and cool. The morning should be cooler. It's not difficult to use at all. Worried about drinking water, food, and snacks? They're all available for purchase. No need to bring them. We bought a room Breakfast and evening meals will be included. The food is delicious. The evening meal has five dishes of medium flavor and can be refilled. The morning round was delicious: fried eggs, ham, hot dogs, bread, croissants, tea, coffee, but no Milo Ovaltine. If you are vegetarian when checking in, please inform them and they will arrange it for you. There is a sandy beach where children can play in the water. There is a life jacket and a caretaker. One criticism is that the room where the toilet water flows slowly must wait a bit. I would like it to be improved. There is no wifi. The phone has waves in some places. Went through the jungle and visited Mon villages. See the way of life of the villagers Walk to the viewpoint Raising elephants, children like them. There are additional activities to choose from but you have to pay extra. Overall, I think it's not expensive and has a nice atmosphere.

It's not very private. The rooms are next to each other. Loud noises are not considerate to the locals. Not having electricity is not a problem. But I don't think it's suitable for privacy.

I would like to share my experience in case anyone might like it. Or don't like this..we pinned it to Ruean Raea Jungle Raft. It turned out that Google Mape Takes you into a small, narrow, overgrown alley, almost mired again. There is a small rubber cloth sign. Tell me about going to the Jungle Raft. Come out and set up a main road. I called to ask the staff and they told me to mark Phu Toei Pier. It was my mistake, I didn't study the details before going. Park the car at the pier, get on the boat and go to the raft. Feel the excitement and fun when you arrive at the raft. We roughly knew that there was no electricity. But I secretly think that it must be a natural place that isn't hot. Where can it be? It's very hot. The room is very dark. There are lanterns. You can shower and get dressed easily. There is a life jacket for you to play in the water. The water flows very quickly. There are no creditors to take care of. Take responsibility for your own life. The purchase price includes dinner and breakfast. Dinner is simple and easy. I secretly thought that breakfast would be luxurious and nice. Where can it be easier than dinner? Think of it as simple as eating to cure hunger, eating to survive. There were 3 slices of bread, nothing for us to spread on, no jam, no butter. I'm confused. I really want to know what to eat with it. 2 fried eggs, 2 pieces of ham, 2 small moist sausages, can be added, but in my mind there was nothing to choose from. wait I'm hungry. Another bowl of hot rice porridge isn't much. Fruits, pineapple, watermelon, and sour pineapple make your teeth hard. In conclusion, the food is not very good. The employees are smiling and cheerful. Summary of this vacation It's like practicing patience. One time is enough🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

To go, you have to drive and park at Phutakian Pier before taking a long-tail boat, which takes about 30 minutes to reach the accommodation. ***Beautiful place The raft is on the bank of the River Kwai. Surrounded by nature Behind is a Mon village.Accommodation including breakfast and dinner is provided as a set and can be added. (I think the food is good) and the receptionist Take good care of it.*** The important thing is that there is no electricity. There is no air conditioning, no hot water, only lanterns, prepared snacks and drinks in an ice bucket. (Ice is sold for 20 baht per bucket.) USB fan and extra batteries are good. The middle of the year is very hot. During the day, you can jump into the water in front of the raft at any time. The water flow is strong. Children should not be allowed to play in the water alone.*** This accommodation should not be used as a slaughter room. The sound was so loud that everyone could hear it and the whole raft shook. Just in time for the day I went to stay. There was a young couple making a very loud noise, thinking they were playing an X-rated movie.*** The room has a front and back door. There is an ensuite bathroom with a mosquito net. The room has 2 beds, 1 large bed and 1 small bed. The bathroom water flow is good. There are cots in front and behind every room.*** Overall, give 4 stars, like the atmosphere, like the staff. But there is no air conditioner and fan or electricity.Makes it really difficult to live. There is dust in the mosquito net. Anyone who has an allergy, please prepare medicine.

Reserve 2 rooms for 4200 baht through the Agoda app, drive 80 kilometers, arrive at 6 p.m. When the room was full, I took my 80 year old grandmother to sit and wait for an hour for the manager to check. She came out and said she didn't see any e-mail. But I will find that shophouse for you. Almost half had passed. I couldn't find it, so I asked for a refund. The manager said he couldn't. You have to tell Agoda yourself. Call Agoda Agoda said the email had been sent. I'll call and talk to the owner. It wasn't until 8 p.m. that I came out to find a room myself. Still haven't got the money. Very bored. The room doesn't work. It's okay. But they didn't seem to manage or tell us anything and let us wait until nightfall.

Very good atmosphere....delicious food, accommodation price included. Breakfast and dinner are already provided....there is no electricity. It is not recommended to use it in the summer. Because I lay there blowing until my hand almost broke....if it wasn't hot, that's the best...come with your boyfriend, come with
