An amazing authentic experience in rural Kanchanaburi. A very friendly couple manages the place, cool weather due to high elevation, cozy cabins, and great food. Mr. Hey and I drank beer while swapping stories, and his wife prepared some fantastic dishes using local game meat.Don't expect hotel level amenities, it's a rustic mountain experience, no aircon, no hot water, and there will be insects in the cabins. Bringing your own vehicle is recommended, but Mr. Hey does offer a taxi service with his truck.

A simple hut in beautiful nature with very nice people. I have never eaten so well, it is freshly prepared. Near a cave that you should definitely visit. Not far from the Erawan waterfalls. I enjoyed my stay with these very nice people

I stayed 4 nights and enjoyed a rustic feeling of home. Easy and fun place to explore outside of Kachanaburi and near to Erawan Waterfalls. Yummy food. Sweet family. I would stay again.

It looked so beautiful in the pictures, but they are broken huts. The picture with the great hut is no longer livable. Totally disintegrated. The doors of the bamboo huts for rent are completely warped and cannot be locked from the inside. The mattresses are hard as rocks, badly torn and totally worn out. The bathroom was okay and taking a shower from a tub was a nice experience. The couple who look after this property are really nice and hard-working. But what good is it for both of them if the owner doesn't invest?

Very poor communication with the host who is not on site, we booked through Air bnb.I've really never experienced anything like this before. When we arrived, no one even knew that we had booked for 3 nights. There is no shower in the bungalow, only a tap, the bed is very hard, it makes no difference whether you sleep in the bed or on the floor. The food that Wanpen cooked was very good, she is very friendly. However, the restaurant is closed for the next few days for family reasons and unfortunately there are no transport options here.We feel compelled to leave after one night. You cannot book a scooter on site at the accommodation. The cave, which is just around the corner, is definitely worth a visit, but as a tourist you pay 300 Bath, but as a local you only pay 60 Bath, which was a reason for us not to visit the cave. The taxi transfer from the bungalow is also incredibly expensive 500bath to the waterfall and back excluding 750bath for the entrance to the waterfall (2 people). With our experience, I would recommend travelers to get a hotel room in Kanchanaburi and rent a scooter there and from there travel in the national park or travel by public transport. This is probably the best and cheapest solution.

Superb welcome. The bamboo houses are typical, clean with a bathroom. No shower but you can wash yourself. Quiet and peaceful place. And above all, very good cuisine.

We had a very nice stay. The hosts are very sympathetic, the village is beautiful to walk around, the little huts beautiful and the food freshly prepared by the hosts very good :)

I am a Nature lover and waterfalls freak this farm house is heaven for me since it is off beat place from city , 10km near to Erawan Waterfalls and 2km near to Cave. Thanks to Kim she Approved for 3px in the house, we booked the house for 2 nights unfortunately we reach Kanchanburi at 8 PM, Kim suggested us to stay in Kanchanaburi since the farm house is very far and harmful for animals at night.next day we went to Erawan falls and came down to car parking Mr& Mrs Hey waiting for us in the mini truck. We put our luggages on the truck , sat on it and enjoyed the lake view , mountains and smooth road.Mrs.Hey fried rice , noodle soup and cold tea is wonderful.Mr Hey 's family are very calm and friendly.I definitely recommend people who are nature lovers and want to learn the culture.
