The atmosphere was very good! We immediately felt welcome when we met the lovely owners. Lots to do in and around Kanchanabhuri from this hostel, they are also happy to tell you more about the activities in the area. Above all, free breakfast. Highly recommended!

This is the hostel I've been to so far. In the morning you have the option of a delicious breakfast. The rooms and the entire building are also clean and hygiene is taken into account. The staff is super nice and helpful. They also speak good English. The price/quality ratio is excellent. Keep it up Alex!

Had a really great stay here! The rooms and bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The beds were a bit hard but were fine. The employees were also very friendly. Alex was really great! I would definitely recommend this.

Noisy due to the proximity of the main road, dorm on the 3rd floor, no elevator, no privacy in the 8th dorm, no curtains, mattress rock hard, extremely uncomfortable. No water dispenser. No hot water in the morning. No seating area. By far the worst hostel on the whole trip. Purchased Reviews. Simply bad

Had a great stay at Asleep hostel. The bathrooms are well maintained and clean. The beds were a bit on the hard side.The staff, on the other hand, made everything right! Super friendly and spoke good English. Even when I had forgotten something and was already at the bus station, they were easy to reach and they also delivered it, great guys! 😊

No curtains. Breakfast only toast. Staff only work there part time and not everyone speaks English. Just small lockers.Blanket without cover, but will be replaced.Otherwise everything is good. Right next to the train station and next to a market.

If you have to catch the 7 am train to Bangkok, then please check out at evening, because I didn't find the staff in the morning and I couldn't get my deposit back. The staff should tell the guest when the guest check in.

“The location is conveniently situated right next to the night market and a train station, making it easily accessible for those traveling by train. The landlord is an excellent cook, providing delicious breakfasts, and the rooms are kept clean. They make an effort to engage travelers by organizing communal dinners. The hosts, a Belgian man and a local woman, are fluent in English, making it easy for guests to ask for information.However, privacy might be a concern as there are no curtains on each bed. The terms and conditions for renting a motorbike are quite strict, so make sure to read and understand them thoroughly before renting.”

The hostel staff is amazing, which makes all the difference in your stay! Team scores 1000!!!They offer breakfast (toast, coffee, tea and sometimes some Thai food that the owner makes).Excellent location, next to the night market.I loved the stay, I definitely recommend it.The only thing that could be improved is putting curtains on the beds. The rest rate 10/10!!!

What a wonderful spot. The hostel owner Ping Pong is sooo wonderful words can literally not describe how strong her vibe is. Its one of the livliest friendliest hostels that Ive ever been to. I stayed there on a saturday night and there was a group dinner which was wonderful and a great means of get to know fellow travelers. After dinner everyone sat outside and chatted. Ping Pong speaks english extremely well and was able to help me with some translation to thai that I was having difficult with. If Im ever back in Kanchanburi I know where I will be staying : ))

To me it doesn't seem like a great hostel, as people say.They don't clean every day or thoroughly. The rooms are the minimum, bed and hallway. For two euros more I rented a room for myself with air all day, water, and a kettle in another hotel. Cheap is expensive.The toilet hose was stained brown...don't comment.They remove the air conditioning during the day. You can't be in the room, which is what I pay for. The only common space is outside on the street...more heat.The only good thing is the night market that is nearby.

Perfect little Hostel with the most lovely owner and staff. ❤️ Dorms and private rooms available. Free breakfast until 10 am! Family dinner with great Thai food. Loved it.

“10/10 5 stars”Very clean place and very friendly staff. The hostel is like a little family. Recommend 110% The only negative point is that there are no curtains on the bed for the respondent. Otherwise it's 5 stars everywhere, don't hesitate to come 😉

The price compared to the quality is considered very worthwhile. Foreigners who are guests here are friendly (there are rarely Thai guests), and there are many regulars. Aunt Mimi, the owner of the dormitory, is very kind. This place is suitable for people who are about to go up Sangkhla or E Tong (stay here first to prepare for the next morning's ascent) or on the way back down if you don't want to take the long shot to Bangkok for fear of being too tired. P.S. There is free bread to eat in the morning.
