Terrible experience! Stayed in 2 rooms, found a dirty room, murky water, food delayed for 2 hours, in the morning there was no running water.Stayed at Tayan Resort Kanchanaburi on 4 May 2024 with 4 friends, 2 rooms, encountered many problems as follows.Rooms:Very dirty, not clean, has dust stains, old equipment, dilapidated.The water in the bathroom flows turbidly. It has an earthy color. After showering, the skin stings.Bedsheets and blankets are old, faded, and do not look clean.Surrounding area:In front of the raft, found brown foam in the water. It is expected to come from pollution or wastewater.food:Ordered dinner before 6 p.m., but waited so long for the food that we had to follow up with the staff. Waited until almost 8 p.m. for the food to arrive (more than 2 hours of waiting).Some food items are out of stock. But the resort didn't inform.Received only partial foodFood quality is not worth the price.Morning of day 5:The water doesn't flow, can't shower.Overall:The experience of staying at Tayan Resort was very bad, not impressive, not worth the money paid. Stayed on 20-22 May 2024 for 3 days and 2 nights. It was very bad. Go in first In order to check in, it's OK as usual when we have a lot of stuff. I called someone to help. But the person who came to help was a child, probably no more than 10 years old. We didn't dare let him lift it, so we had to lift it ourselves. When we got to the room, we looked around. The bed, blankets, and pillowcases were stained and very dirty. The room was dark, and there was a small and very old wardrobe. Plus there were no coat hangers, the bathroom floor would break through. And there was no toothbrush and toothpaste provided, so you had to buy them yourself. And there aren't any shops around here. In addition to the resort's shop The TV wouldn't turn on. Call someone to come look for you. It took almost half a day to come and take pictures. The remote control has expired. I asked to skip the day and they didn't give it to me until I was fed up with being persistent. The service was slow to very slow. The staff consisted of only little girls, no more than 15 years old, so much so that they didn't dare use the service. For 3 days of accommodation, they almost didn't want to stay in the room. Hotel with rafts on the river. The bridge to the rafts where broken which required us to walk over rafts with our luggage this caused our Shoes to be drenched in river water, the swimming pool was not filled with water, multiple(wild) dogs walking around. Booked a VIP room with hot tub. Brown water came out of the taps, the toilet was filled with ants. We promptly checked out. Do not visit if you are elderly or if you want western luxuries.

I went there during the rainy season and the flash flood came and the water turned red. The resort brought clean water but it was not enough. So I didn't take a shower because there were many people there.

The accommodation is located along the river. According to GPS, it is clear that the overall area looks old and deserted in many spots. It can be said that there is a lack of care and maintenance. But it is assumed that in the past it was probably a beautiful resort that blended with nature in this area. The location will be next to the waterfront. Travel to many tourist attractions without being too far.The walkway to the raft/raft area: Not suitable for people with poor health/walking disabilities or people with a lot of weight. Because the level of stairs going up and down is not consistent. Unequal high and low (If you come to stay, you should stay on a flat surface.) As for the area in front of the bar at the raft, the atmosphere is good, the area is beautiful, quiet, suitable for relaxation.As for the rooms that are available It's a room on a raft by the water. The room characteristics have improved in some areas, but overall, they are still not very good, such as having a television but no signal. The air conditioner is cool and has water dripping throughout use. The bathroom has jagged edges in many places. The mattress part is overall considered ok.. Some of the cribs in front of the rooms had mold growing in black spots. Can make clothes dirtyBreakfast area: located in the upper area next to the lobby. The morning atmosphere is quite good and refreshing. Breakfast during your stay will be simple and prepared as a set. (In 1 plate there will be sausage, fried egg, ham and salad) As for bread+jam+juice and coffee, additional items can be requested. (During the time when there are a lot of people using the service, a buffet style meal will be provided including pork porridge. Fresh fruit added The breakfast set is still the same.) There are some mosquitoes and flies, but not many.Overall summary: The location is very good, next to nature, no pollution, able to travel to tourist attractions not very far.. The overall area lacks care and maintenance. Cleanliness is there in some areas. Nearby restaurants may be a bit hard to find. ..The price paid and the value depends on the discretion and experience of each person staying, which may not be the same. ...The service of the employees is okay.

Very disappointing I was going to go on vacation and become a victim. Checking in, the female staff doesn't speak well. There was no notification of anything, such as the location of breakfast. Set rafting time, all basic WiFi, chatter back. How many people walked on the raft? Everyone was shaken. The air conditioner cools very slowly. The bathroom was dirty, with slippery stains on the floor and toilet like it hadn't been washed in a long time. The life jacket is old and worn out and doesn't care about the guests. When it's time to order food, you have to walk in and order. And the food waits very long. The pork came first but there was no pan. In the evening, the power went out but there was no explanation from the employees. It took so long that I had to call and ask myself and was told to just wait, which was very hot. But the other side sang loudly at 10 p.m. and still made loud noises. Choose a room with a tub because you want to soak in the water. Summary of dirty black water The tub was very dirty and had to stand and scrub it yourself. In conclusion, I didn't soak because the water conditions were too bad to really go in. In the morning, I came to take a half bath. Another friend didn't shower. If the water is not flowing, we will not inform you again as usual. The receptionist cursed other employees directly at the guests eating. I feel sorry for the children who come to work until they are blurred. In summary, I'm confused.
