The owner's aunt is very cute. The atmosphere is quiet. The outside may look dry, but the rooms are clean, cool air conditioning, close to nature, not expensive.

If you would like to support small family-run businesses, Plearn Resort could be the place for you.This homely, cosy guesthouse is run by an older, hardworking, very sweet Thai-part ethnic Chinese couple who speak a little English. Their online queries are handled by someone else off-site. A little attempt at speaking even broken Thai goes a long way. They are fit for their age, busily attending to details around the property, doing their sincere best. The fittings in their more frequently rented out rooms are maintained to a fair standard and given a good rigorous daily cleaning.Breakfast is simple, rice soup with chicken or fried rice with chicken. I requested vegetarian 2 days ahead (eggs and fruit). I got eggs, some slices of apple and lettuce leaves with carrot. I even got some fried tofu on top of all that on the second day.There is a cluster of small, friendly Isaan-type restaurants on the river with gorgeous views about 1.5 - 2km up the road listed on Google Maps. Don't let the lack of English signage deter as there are menus in English and/or with photos.EDIT: I had some car trouble on the day we were supposed to leave. Very fortunately, their English-speaking son Tong who only returns some weekends from Rayong was on hand to help. He found us a reliable local mechanic who did a meticulous job and everything was sorted. We ended up staying another day. Many thanks for the kindness and personal attention. My warmest regards to you and your family.

Modern style rooms It may look dry outside. Uncle and auntie are cute and provide good service. There's porridge in the morning. Coffee starting at 8:00 a.m. onwards We left early so didn't eat and left at 5:00 a.m. to catch Mon Bridge in the morning. Uncle still came out to deliver. Restaurant in front of the resort If you don't have it, there probably won't be anyone to take care of you.

Good accommodation, cheap price, the owner is lovely, takes good care of him, is friendly and very attentive. The important thing is that it is close to Erawan Waterfall. and seats to eat with a good atmosphere

Hotel located in the middle of nowhere let's say it, so without means of transport it's complicated.Then, the welcome was complicated since neither of the two hosts spoke English and despite their good will the language barrier posed a problem.The room was OK (provided you like hard mattresses) and the bathroom was somewhat spartan. Fairly unsatisfactory value for money.The restaurant was closed, we had to eat snacks from a seven/eleven to which our host kindly took us after several minutes of sign language.In short, a disappointment.
