The resort is currently by far the cheapest option available through various booking portals for Ban Krust. That's why I initially chose it as a way to arrive and then see if there were other options available locally. Of course, the Corona period and its long-term consequences seem to have taken a toll on tourist offerings here too. It quickly became apparent that there were few alternative options in this affordable and pleasant location, so I spent a good two weeks here.The "resort" is a collection of about 15 houses and huts of various designs, which stretch along a path between pools and coconut palms. Of course, most of the houses were not currently rented, so it was very quiet. Approximately in the middle of the path there is a cozy, open house with a large seating area, next to which the owners live and where you get a very inexpensive and delicious breakfast a la carte every morning. The owner or manager, who speaks English very well, takes care of everything in a touching way, cleans the accommodation, makes breakfast, gives advice on requests, does the laundry if necessary, provides bicycles free of charge, organizes a taxi, etc. You feel Your care will quickly make you feel at home.The accommodation is certainly not swanky; there is no pool, no 24/7 care. Depending on the location of the hut, you have to walk about 500 meters to the beach. Nevertheless, or perhaps because of this, it is a wonderful place to stay for a longer period of time.

The price is not expensive, very close to the beach. Overall, I like the value.
