Very nice owner family, they take great care of you. The nice bungalow's furnishings are simple but functional, with air conditioning, although this is only stated in the "small print" and the title of the offer says "with fan". That's still there too. Kitchen can be used, coffee, tea etc. always available. Quiet and very pretty location on the "Groove", which is not entirely free of mosquitoes, although you hardly notice them, so you should protect yourself in the evening. What is particularly pleasant is that a cooling wind often blows at night. 200 short meters to the Khlong Khoi dream beach, restaurants, markets, taxis, taxi boat to the Bang Bao Pier, all within walking distance. Very pleasant stay there, we would repeat it at any time.

MOST- The price for the double room in a bungalow is rather reasonable for Koh Chang (350-380b per night), although you can find other options even cheaper- The room was OK: clean, quite comfortable, large bed, private bathroom with hot water, towels provided, and terrace with hammock. Note: there was an air conditioning unit, but it didn't work, but it was as described and I didn't need it anyway because the fan was enough for me.THE LESSERS- Two major drawbacks for me: the smell of humidity in the room (it even stung my throat) and the area which I found a little too isolated. It is better to go to the more well-known areas of the island such as Kai Bae Beach or White Sand Beach for example. I didn't really like the Bangbao / Klong Koi area, especially since I got eaten by sandflies on the beach, I had itching for two weeks.- When I arrived at the hotel, reception was closed, I had to ask the bungalows next door (Family Hut) who helped me. The manager arrived shortly after and everything was back to normal. Also note that she didn't really speak English, but that's not a big deal.- Another detail: there was no soap or shampoo provided.

The owner Zod is the best guy! Good times living here. Playing billiards, listening to music and enjoying greens is daily business 😁 Cheap rooms, and close to lonely beaches 🤙

Stayed here for about two weeks recently. Had a really good experience...Zod the owner is laid back and gets on really well with the guests. The place is really well maintained, the rooms , the gardens and the central meeting area which is enjoyed by all the guests. There is a nice pool table you can use.As a guest you have full use of the kitchen which is really spacious and well equipped. From what I understand Klong Kloi is probably the best beach to stay at in Koh Chang, especially if you prefer a more chilled experience. Visit bang bao too its well worth it. The rooms also get visited by monkeys in the morning which is pretty cool

THE place to stay in Koh Chang.We had booked three nights, we ended up staying there for a whole week. It’s the kind of place that has such a good vibe that you want to stay there longer. Zod, the guy who runs the place is super nice and very funny, probably the best host we've had in a year and a half of traveling! The bungalows are quite large, there is a bathroom, a hammock, the common area is pleasant, there is a billiards table and what I really appreciated was having a kitchen available, I I was able to make pasta, noodles, and we even had a barbecue. We are very close to the beach which is very calm, no boats, no jet skis, parachutes or all those things that bother your feet, here we are peaceful.

Perfect place ! Everything is new and clean. Hot water in the bedroom, a big pool, free coffee in the morning, 5 min from the beach and restaurants. Really nice owner too.
