What a gem! Located at the best part of white sandy beach you basically live in an unique tree house with balconies towards the sea - dome with hammocks, some with comfy bean bags. At night you can hear the sounds of the jungle and from the waves. Lovely owner and guests. And all of this for a bargain. I absolutely love it!

I can’t imagine how much you have to disrespect yourself to stay here. They sell you a barn without normal amenities. I watched a picture of pensioners carrying their heavy luggage along the sand for 500 meters since there is no other road except along the beach.

Very friendly welcome to a beautiful island. A varied selection of rustic sryle bungalows on the side of the jungle overlooking the beach. The place has a great character and I made many good friends during my stay. Great place to relax in October before the crowds arrive and the weather has been fantastic. Can't wait to be back again!

It was a terrible experience. The rooms are filthy, the lady treats you as if she was your mum telling you off for random stuff and the beds are awful. She yelled at me because I had my boots on while carrying my really heavy backpack down the stairs, which are in an outside area and quite dirty, but apparently she has no intention of cleaning anytime soon so you are not allowed to wear shoes neither even at the bar which is outdoors. She makes you pay extra money if you want to use a towel and she gives you just a tiny blanket so you freeze at night. The bathroom didn't even have a sink and it's disgusting. She says she doesn't allow you to wear shoes inside because of Thai culture, thing that I know about because I live in Thailand and respect every time I go to a Thai home. but She sells alcohol to the people that stays at her hostel during the Holly Buddha days. If you say you are not staying at her hostel you won't be allowed to drink tho. It's mosquitos everywhere and she makes you pay even for boiling water. We went there thinking it was going to be a relaxing experience with quite a laid back vibe but we ended up leaving extra early just because we felt unwelcome even tho we just spent a night there. Never going back, never recommending anyone to go there if they actually want to just enjoy themselves and have a nice relaxing time. It's a really patronizing environment and unwelcoming.

An idyllic setting with a small beach at the foot of the bungalows covered with colorful frescoes... The atmosphere was so great that we spent a whole week there... a great memory of Koh Chang
