💥Attention sandflies, sandflies, sandflies. If you are allergic, avoid at least the beginning of the season, stay away from the shade and plants. Several stings within a short time. You will pay it the following days. Good luck

Very nice resort, uncomplicated and friendly. You can reach the next town on foot along the beach, even if it doesn't necessarily look like that on Google Maps.

I'm so sorry, I had such a short time here. I saw this and wanted to sleep here. It is a Western style accommodation on Koh Mak. Who doesn't like the atmosphere of Thai people? If you like this, I recommend it.

We decided to stay at Hidden Beach based on the great comments about Jake and his team and we were not disappointed! Jake is a force of nature (think Seth Rogen having lived on a secluded island for a few years) he’s a super funny guy who knows everyone on the island and clearly has a lot of love for Koh Mak. If you’re interested in exceptionally entertaining life stories and a lot of knowledge about Koh Mak this is your place to be. When I mentioned that I’m interested in cooking he called the local cooking expert for me and arranged a session for me.The location is also outstanding and has a lot of hammocks to chill in. The rooms are quite basic and very clean. You’ll have the ocean right in front of your nose and waking up with that 🏝️views is just incredible. The whole team around Jake is lovely and VERY 420 friendly. The whole vibe here is coming as a foreigner and leaving as a friend.If you’re into super organized hotels and service this might not be the place for you (for us it’s totally fine to make our own coffee in the morning for example). If you want to understand how living on an Island can feel like you’ll probably enjoy the different characters passing through Hidden Beach every day.

We spent 2 days in this structure, the beach on which it is built is very beautiful and well equipped with two bar areas. The rooms enjoy a crazy view and are well furnished with functional and large spaces. Particular mention goes to the staff who, in addition to being very kind and helpful.Scooters can be rented on site to get around the island.As for the beach in the resort areas, it is very clean, while as in every beach in Thailand, as soon as you move away from the "resort area" you encounter a bit of dirt.To conclude, very beautiful water but full of rocks which makes bathing less comfortable compared to other beaches on the island.

The hidden beach resort is a little piece of paradise. There are only 10 bungalows with balconies. They are all beachfront. You see the sea when you wake up and you can hear it 24h per day. The manager jake an his team are lovely and make you feel at home all the time. It is very quiet and super relaxed. We loved it

Super nice, well designed, clean huts with great view, super friendly team and great spot if you wish to stay a bit out of the touristic areas of Koh Mak. Unfortunately, there was no restaurant in service at the time we stayed there but the team helps with ordering food from different restaurants from the island. All drinks we drank at the bar were fantastic. Good scooter available. Will come back!

I did not stay at the small attached resort, but visited the beach bar every day to lie in one of their (quality) hammocks and swim. Its pretty much the last bar on the road, so daytimes are Robinson Crusoe peaceful. Great place for a chiiled out rest. Prices ok, staff friendly. Bar seemed to close up for an hour or so at 6pm, before the bigger bar with sound system opens later

A short distance from the city, very quiet part, relaxed owner (English). Direct sea view, air-conditioned room. Only the beach is not completely suitable for swimming, so you can get wet, but we were there in the period when there were high tides in the afternoon
