I used Agoda for a weekend rate of 1782 baht without breakfast.Although it is a bungalow, it has its own charm and seems to be well maintained.Motorcycle rental 250 bahtPier pick-up service is available. It's right next to the beach so it's great for relaxationThe water is not very clean and has a lot of stonesKayaking costs 100 baht per hour. When the water goes out, you can't use it because of the rocks. The water pressure is weakThe air conditioner is weak and there are black spots on it as if the fenders and vents have never been cleaned.dust clumps fallThere is no trash can in the room and no towel rack in the bathroom. There are a lot of spidersFrom small ones to ones as big as your thumbnailI sent several to the other world. And the restaurant closes at 6:30 p.m.ㅜㅜMaybe it's because there are no customers

We stayed for 4 nights and loved every minute! The staff are friendly and welcoming. English is limited but we didn't run into any issues with this. The beach is super quiet - the island of Ko Kahm was busier! The water and beach is clean. There is a beach bar where you can get a happy hour drink and watch the sun set.Although food prices are a bit higher than restaurants outside, the food quality is excellent. We ate here most of the time as the green curry was so good! The rooms are a bit tired and dated, but it didn't not meet expectations of it being a little beach hut.Highly recommend staying here!

The location is excellent; I believe it’s the best value option we’ve experienced in Thailand so far. The staff is pleasant, although only a few speak English. The place was very clean and peaceful. I definitely recommend trying the drinks at the bar. The food is good, although slightly more expensive than restaurants outside.

Nestled on the charming island of Koh Mak in Thailand, Baan Koh Mak Resort is a haven for those seeking relaxation and genuine hospitality. Our four-day stay was filled with unforgettable moments, immersed in an atmosphere of peace and friendly service. The staff, while not fluent in English, were incredibly welcoming and helpful. With smiles and gestures, we communicated everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The resort itself is small and intimate, exuding a warm and relaxed ambiance. Our room offered a comfortable haven with breathtaking ocean views and the most stunning sunsets.Breakfast wasn't included in the price, which turned out to be a delightful surprise. The small restaurant catered to our every desire, offering delicious meals and minimizing food waste. Kim'm, a staff member with a good understanding of English, was invaluable during our stay. We had some initial booking issues through the website, but Kim'm addressed them via Messenger, ensuring everything was smooth sailing in the end.To explore the island, we rented a golf cart, a fun and convenient way to navigate the charming local roads. One of our highlights was a visit to Secluded Beach, a true paradise with pristine sand and crystal-clear waters.Overall, Baan Koh Mak Resort offered the perfect setting for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful escape and an idyllic haven in Thailand.

Very clean, quiet, only the sound of the sea, beautifully laid out, few bungalows with sea views. There are many restaurants, supermarkets, pubs and bars right in front of the entrance. Very tasty cocktails right on the beach.

Rooms mediocre, everything was getting old, air conditioning was broken, no matter what temperature you set, the air was always way too cold (16 degrees) and you couldn't stand it without air conditioning. Of course we reported it, the porter looked at it, but it was exactly the same afterwards. The electricity only works when the card is inserted, which means the refrigerator only cools when you are in the bungalow. The door locks also needed to be changed urgently, you couldn't sit on the terrace and close the door from outside, even unlocking it was a struggle every time. :( We stayed at Baan Koh Mak for 3 nights and paid 6000 baht, which is far too much for the room and the subterranean service, you are either approached or ignored by the doorman, he left us standing for 10 minutes and relaxed for 12 Coffee behind the counter, when asked he only reacted angrily with: “Wait!” When he found out the next morning that we hadn’t booked our ferry to Koh Kood with him, he also reacted very reproachfully (he wanted for 2 people 1200 baht without transfer and we paid 700 baht + transfer for 2 people). A very nice and relaxed beach bar, with a very unfriendly bartender who was visibly annoyed by everything and made the tourists feel that too Unfortunately, the WiFi was also very bad and only worked for a limited time. For people like us, working online was a disappointment. We wouldn't book Baan Koh Mak again.

Perfect place to stay in Koh Mak. Beautiful clean beach with cozy seatings and a big tree that gives good shadow. High quality room for the price. Nice breakfast too with a perfect barista cappucino, the best one I've had in Thailand so far. Musli and yoghurt bowl with fruit was good. For lunch I recommend the pineapple fried rice, it was amazing!
