Terrible place to leave! It's easy to get lost here, since this is such a gem. The owners are a lovely couple that run a beautiful place to rest and get some peace. You have a small river right in front of you enough space to chill and relax. If it's in a hammock, by the bar or your room. The way it looks is just very nice and it has a very chilled vibe.Sad to leave this place

What an incredible place! In nature, you can enjoy quiet time but also meet other interesting travelers, clean and spacious bungalows and all place is filled with cool art! Owners are lovely people who make you feel like home from beginning. Many chilled areas like bar, garden with hammocs and a pool to dip in during hot days. There are also two cute doggies ❤️ I spent a month in this amazing place and hope to come back soon.

Vary nice place to stay in Koh Chang in Klong Kloi. It's a 5 min walk to the beach, which is a more quiet and less crowded beach than lets say Lonely beach. Stayed for 10 days and had a very nice stay here! It's called freedom home for a reason! You can paint and make art and basically enjoy as you want! The pool is okey and the staff is like family🥰 The room has mosquito nets and my room had private toilet and shower which was nice! Bar is self service and good prices. Leave something of yourself and your expression and paint something somewhere! Would absolutely come back! Oh, and they have 2 resident dogs🤩😍 It can be a bit tricky to find at first, vet there are signs in the area to show you the way

Mawe and Tom are very kind host. They gave me a warm welcome and supported me in everything.The place is simple but creative. The position is very good, just few steps from the beach, you will find yourself in the garden of the jungle. So If you like Nature here you will listens to all the magical sounds of the birds and gekos.The rooms are clean a little warm in the day but you can open your fan. If you want more privacy ask for a bungalow.The atmosphere is nice, people gather to share time, chat and creativity. Ka

What can I say about Freedom Home?! Tommy and Mameaw are amazing hosts. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and at home.Mameaw cooks DELICIOUS food and makes it with LOVE. I have some of my best memories sitting in the evening talking with Tommy and sharing stories.Tommy has worked tirelessly to make Freedom Home an amazing and relaxing place to spend you're time, in a hammock, at the pool or cuddling with their lovely dogs, Princess Sabai and King Louis.The entire place is filled with eclectic pieces everywhere, decorated by Tommy himself and guests. Some rooms even have signs made by Tommy to remember past guests that fell in love with the place so they can always call that room their own on their guaranteed return to Freedom Home.Perfect location to walk to Klong Koi beach and some surrounding restaurants.I am a returning guest but now I feel like family.Thank you Tommy and Mameaw 🥰

We are Backpackers, we know what it means to save money, but here is the apotheosis of the "good deal", €210 for 11 nights, convenient, yes. But for the same price we found MUCH better in Thailand.I don't understand how you appreciate this place so much, in the bungalows there are mice that come to visit you at night (see photo), they even ate my backpack (see photo).Between ants, mice, the bungalow is a hole where in the afternoon it is 70°C and at night you freeze, my girlfriend had to throw away medicines because they melted!The soundproofing of the bungalow does not exist, the owners EVERY evening and their Hippie friends play music and you can perfectly hear them chatting until 1 am, on the 6th day we had to ask to lower the volume because we could not sleep, yet you have not 18 years.The place is scruffy and the excuse of the low price is certainly not valid as a motive, if you want to be eaten by mice, not sleep in the evening and be woken up by monkeys at 6 am welcome to this """""freedom"""""P.s., instead of organizing a boat trip, invest money in soundproofing the bungslow, perhaps plugging the holes, so you don't find new mouse droppings every morning!

LACK of FREEDOM and yet it's called freedom :). Room correct, clean, good location.Atmosphere lacking lightness, lacking flexibility of mind. TO BE FREE IS TO BE FREE FROM ALL BELIEF.When I arrived at the place, I told the boss's wife that I am free and that I want pay day by day, and that I will stay perhaps a week. Just waking up from my first night, I meet the owner's wife who asks me directly "how long are you staying ?". For 3 days it was the same thing, it's not relaxing, it's even oppressive. CONTROL is a consequence of FEAR within SELF. When you seek security through control it is because you internally emanate the FEAR of LACKING OUT. So as I did not correspond to their imprisoning functioning (ego), so he was not warm with me. The third day when I returned, they tried to force me to block me for a week in their accommodation by explaining to me that they needed to be sure that I stayed for a week. I didn't let myself get stuck in this reasoning and I decided to leave. FEAR is a CONSEQUENCE of IGNORANCE of oneself. LOVE is a CONSEQUENCE of WISDOM. By transmitting these facts which relate the TRUTH, I invite them to Free themselves from the smallness of fear to take the path of the greatness of LOVE. THE TRUTH is not made to please but to EVOLVE. To LOVE is to be RESPONSIBLE for your state of Being, in others words MASTERY OF BEING.You can NOT Buy Love, Inner Peace, Joy; it is cultivated internally. It is the CONSCIOUS journey towards oneself.
