Stayed in the one bedroom suite for the thailand resident package so it was a really good value deal for me. In terms of the rooms and facilities I think they did an excellent job. However my main criticism is that the quality of the food is very mediocre in terms of the ability of the chefs. Its a bit too obvious that they are understaffed and untrained. That being said, this problem seems to be industry wide post covid.

A very high class hotel. The employees here are very helpful. Made my daughter a surprise for her birthday and decorated the room with a chocolate cake. We were very excited. Special thanks to the manager at the hotel GG names reception who treated us amazingly.

The beach shared with Anantara is empty and you can really relax. However, it is not very shallow, so I think it is dangerous for children to swim during the rainy season. Perfect for enjoying the scenery.The restaurant has a wide variety of food, which is of high quality and delicious. The staff was friendly and I was able to relax and enjoy my meal. Very satisfied.The hotel was the cheapest room, but it was over 90 square meters, spacious and clean. It also comes with a washing machine, dryer, and kitchenette for your comfort. The scenery was also nice.We paid an additional fee to do a Thai boxing activity, and even though we were beginners, he taught us kindly and carefully, so we had a lot of fun. It's a good exercise and the price is low, so I highly recommend it.I'm a GHA platinum member, so I requested it in advance, but I wasn't given an upgrade at check-in. I was told that there would be a charge for late check-out. The next day, I asked someone else if it was possible to check out late, but they didn't check the reservation status and said it was not possible because it was busy. I think people who are not Titanium members should not expect much service.

Very bad experience with the service.we went for breakfast but staffs did not let us in. there were plenty of tables and they were closing soon. then they just let us stand there for 15 mins as if we were transparent. and then chased us away saying they were fully booked.kept om telling us you cam come back tomorrow when we are empty. our friends were inside dining already and there were chairs for us to squeeze as well.EDIT: Update to reply Hotel's response.Our friends who were not guests of the hotel were able to walk in and get tables after us. We were also walk ins. What you mean by you need to account for reservations and walk ins?

The cleanliness of the rooms is very poor. Towels and bed linens are not changed. Also, The shaving tools provided in the bathroom had been used before our stay and were neither replaced nor discarded. and the breakfast buffet dishes smell of eggs , A bad stay at the hotel.

We recently stayed in Avani + Mai Khao from 30th June to 2nd July in the two bedroom pool suite. The experience was exquisite. The property is beautiful with access to Anantara Beach. The rooms were amazing with a special Anniversary decor and cake for us in the room. The pool was clean and rooms were luxurious. The food in Burgers and Brews was awesome. The staff was very helpful- especially when we booked we got very amazing assistance from the staff while confirming our bookings and booking room upgrades. We had our lunch in the private pool with floating basket and it was a surreal experience. Went for morning Yoga under the trees and it was really amazing. Loved the stay will surely come back again to Avani +.

My first stay in Phuket. The rooms are big and we love the private pool in our unit. Service is awesome. August, the soft-spoken front line staff was helpful to call the guided tour company when it didn't send the driver.The resort has activites lined up for both adults and kids. My family took the bike activity and was served by a friendly guide who tried to engage my family.Breakfast in buffet style at Talad was awesome. I was pleasantly surprised to see detox juices from cucumber, kale. Didn't try that but only tried beetroot juice. Talad serves a good spread of food and drinks. There is Japanese miso soup, Chinese porridge, salads, fruits like papayas, rock melons, passion fruits and pastries. There are mini doughnuts, muffins and pastries When my child returned the next day, she tried to look fore passion fruits but could not find the cut ones. A male staff from the kitchen was quick to observe and came over to ask. He quickly came out with a place of cut passion fruits.Turtle village, across the resort has a mixture of restaurants (Korean Banchon, Western like Pizza Place), pub, Starbucks, 7 eleven and even UOB ATM. Wish there was a market that sells apparel and bags. Everything is perfect except that it's too far from Old Town Phuket and there is no shuttle service. They offer buggy rides to the beach to compensate for being secluded.This is a good place to chill if you prefer tranquil environment away from the crowds. There is a kids club in this resort where you can park your kids at the kids club while you chill.There is a washer and dryer so you can travel light. The resort provided detergent and there is a kitchenette.The housekeeping staff are an awesome bunch. They make an effort to mop the living room and I noticed they do some cleaning even under the bed. They are quick to look into the guest's request. The furnishings look new.The staff are generally friendly and helpful.Do be cautious, it's a LGBT friendly resort. Only realised it when we reached our room, with the note about pride month.

Avani+ is located in Mai Khao, about 30mins from Phuket airport. The area maybe far from Phuket City but it is both quiet and tranquil. Service was good and the staff are very friendly. The rooms are huge, suitable for families. Overall highly recommended if you want a peaceful and relaxing holiday.
