Exceptional stay. Such friendly staff. HIGHLY REOCMMENDED. Quiet but nice. WILL defin8tely return to this wonderful place. We rented motorbikes so getting around was easy. It is the better side of the island to stay on. A few restaurants nearby. |

The resort is located at the end of the quiet part of the island, the "real" part, where local farmers and fishermen live. Greetings to Steve and Lily, the owners, who really care about their clients and the entire resort. It's true that the location is not on the first line from the sea with access to the beach, but you take a scooter from Steve and go to "paradise on earth" beaches like Long Beach or Memorial, wild with white sand, without tourists and resorts. Next to Steav, you have the best coffee in Thailand from your own plantation in Ban Kafae@Koh Chang, there are also several nice restaurants in fishing villages such as Salak Phet Seafood & Resort and the surprising bakery and cafe Aoy's Little Farm & Bakery run by a Norwegian. The rooms are very clean and there is also a swimming pool where you can swim in the evening. The whole place is charming and surrounded by nature, you can feel like you are in a colorful jungle. The resort reminds me of resorts from the island of Bali. Steve is very helpful, he will give you all the information you need about interesting places, call you to book a diving boat and answer any questions. I have to give 6 stars for the service, because 5 is not enough :)

We have just completed a 2 night stay at privacy resort. Steve and lily were great hosts. Rooms were big and really clean with a comfy bed. Breakfast was great there was a couple different options available. The resort is on the quiet side of the island and a great base to explore for a couple days. The pool was lovely and as we were the only people there at the time we used it late in the evening too. There are a couple of restaurants literally 2 min drive, baan kafe which is really great and really cheap, slightly smaller portions or the Ronnie's organic more expensive but big portions and great taste too with more options available. Steve was a great help in recommending things to do and was great to chat to him each morning at breakfast,. couldn't have asked for more

Very private accommodation For people who really want to relax and not focus on the lights and sounds of people. Recommended, very suitable because accommodation #Kao Chang, turn left. Accommodation is 20+ kilometers from the pier. It is recommended to have your own personal car. The road is easier to drive on. #Turn right next to the island There are no uphills and downhills, he is not very winding. Driving comfortably is different from turning right. Food is available only at the resort, cannot be ordered from outside due to the distance. From the entrance to the resort, it's 9 kilometers, but the road is quite difficult. If it's the rainy season, it's even more difficult. Follow the last clip. Recommend stocking up on supplies😅 The accommodation is next to the beach. The rooms are as shown in the picture, but the front door to the balcony cannot be locked. The water heater is secretly difficult to adjust, there is no Wi-Fi, no TV, there is a refrigerator, there is a kettle. Overall, it's not bad, we just didn't take the car 😅 because he thought the way would be as difficult as #Koh Chang, turn right. It was a very difficult 3 days and 2 nights. Who would suggest that I need a car? Because the resort does not have cars for rent. Hire a resort car for day-trip transportation. But I can't take it anywhere. Give it a chance next time to make up your mind again 😄

Very beautifull and clean place. The bungalows look lovely and are spacious. Very peacefull athmosphere. The owners, Steve and Lilly are very nice, friendly and ready to help with any requests. We trully recomand this place if you want to relax.

This Resort is at the eastern side of the island. Actually quiet. But the small resort is at the road so you can hear the road in all of these rooms. Luckily wih not much traffic. It is all nicely made and the owner comes by quite often to ask, if all is fine. What was really annoying to me was that he came to me at 9.55 in the morning, asking for checking out because he wants to clean the room.1100 Bhat for one night and after bargaining 2000 for two nites, is too much for these rooms. 10 minutes to North you can get even bigger rooms in good condition, Particulary with an attached kitchen and pool for 700. Normal prices is between 600 and 750. I saw some bungalows for 1000, 1200 and 1500. They where all more spacious and equipped with very good beds.Can I recommend it? Yes, if you want to be in that very area, you may stay a night or two.

What a beautiful spot! With a super clean (!) swimming pool and house, with everything you need. Situated along the main road (not busy as on the west side of Koh Chang).The photos of Privacy Resort correspond to reality. Other resorts are quite run down, so keep that in mind if you book elsewhere.It is really recommended to (also) visit East Koh Chang and stay here. We think the east is beautiful and want to come back next year (for the 5th time in Thailand, 2nd time in Koh Chang).Steve is a very friendly, sympathetic owner with good tips for various restaurants.

Super clean and really beautiful rooms!The owners Steve (from New Zealand) and his wife lily are super nice and will help you out with anything they can. The breakfast is delicious, only thing was, the coffee wasn’t perfect for my taste, but that wasn’t too bad, and tastes are different ;)I really recommend staying there if you‘re on the east side of koh Chang and want to have a relaxing time :)

Apartments in a great location for those looking for peace and natural beauty on the non-touristy east coast of Koh Chang island. In the courtyard of the apartment there is a lovely garden and a swimming pool, the water of which is not cleaned chemically. The rooms are clean and the environment is constantly maintained. The kind hosts will provide detailed information about places worth visiting, advise where to eat deliciously, and prepare breakfast, which is included in the price. You can rent mopeds here, the owners will give you directions, where to go and what to see. We were with the children, who were impressed, our daughter did not want to leave. We recommend a visit, you will not be disappointed.Best wishes Steve and Lily!

We stayed here for 5 days and we had a fantastic time here. We went a few times to the busy side of the island and we liked both sides. The Quiet side where the hotel is, and the busy side. We loved everything. Dining pool

A quaint set of chalets tucked into the forest, right next to the road. Fortunately little traffic so evenings are peaceful. Rooms are basic but spotless and comfortable. A nice pool is central to the resort. Adequate, easy parking in front. Nearest shops, restaurants are several km away so transport is needed. WiFi is fast but service is intermittent, with frequent, frustrating reconnections. The owners, Steve and Lilly are really hospitable, helpful and hands-on and ensured we had an enjoyable stay.
