Really enjoyed my stay at Pano Resort. Rooms were nice, cosy and clean with a pretty view. Pa is the loveliest lady, full of energy and helped me out with anything I needed. Got to rent a motorbike for cheap, called me a taxi when needed and also was able to make food if desired. Recommend Pano!

We had booked through a booking platform, paid in advance and were aware that it was an accommodation with a rustic ambience...When we arrived, we realised that the two rooms we had booked were actually in a very run-down condition. The doors could hardly be closed, there was no furniture on the terraces and it was extremely dirty everywhere. We were aware that we had been in the low season and the overall impression was not comparable to the high season. We also know many "low budget" accommodations from years of travelling in Thailand, but this time the condition made us decide not to unpack our things at all, but to move directly to another accommodation. In this case, it didn't matter to us that we didn't get the whole refund.Nevertheless, we would like to thank Pa, the lovely elderly lady, for giving us such a warm welcome and organising a scooter for us straight away.

We had a great time there and in the little restaurant you can eat great thaifood. Pa, thats the cute lady's name who is actually responsible alone for everything. She has a great warm heart and her food taste great! We also rented 2 scooters at the resort. I realy recommend that place, If you are not to posh! Pa, thank you for everything and we will never forget you and your great som tam, green curry and tom yum! Big hug from the 2 Austrians

The only downside was that there was no air conditioning. But we had 2 fans and a balcony with a view of the sea. Everything can be reached in 10-20 minutes by scooter or rented golf cart.

Very cosy accommodation, more windy than the other coast side, just 4 bungalows and a restaurant/cafe. The side is located away from the main roads, so no traffic or so around the resort. The main plus point is the service, very very nice and courteous madam's here, the chef is so friendly.

Remote, quiet, surrounded by nature next to a small fjord. The staff - especially the lady who takes care of us tirelessly - is very warm. The accommodation is not a classic tourist resort, but a piece of Thailand. The room is spacious and the food is very good.Unfortunately there is only a tiny beach at low tide, on the first day we picked up 3 handfuls of broken glass, you can only swim at high tide, otherwise it is too shallow. The room is large, but without storage. The bed consists of 2 spring mattresses lying one on top of the other, so it's a very restless, wobbly affair. The bed linen and towels are made of polyester. Our balcony - made of Eternit tiles - had at least 2 small stools, others had no seating. And when there was no wind it was very hot and full of mosquitoes. We booked for 8 days and left after 3 days.

We were guests in the restaurant. The curry was super tasty, at a good price. Before dinner we watched the sunset with a beer. Fantastically beautiful!The owners are also super lovely. Can only recommend the restaurant!

Nice place and wonderfull owners/workers. You can swim but there is no beach. With some update it would be lovely place. But we loved it like that for few days You need a scooter or taxi if you want to visit somewhere.

Small resort with accommodation built in wood, the rooms have a terrace facing the sea from which you can enjoy magnificent sunsets. Lots of garden, hammocks to relax near the sea.Extraordinary staff, we were immediately treated like part of the family, all kind and smiling, always available for any request or information. The small restaurant cooks very good Thai dishes. Highly recommended for a stay on Koh Mak, at a good price compared to many others.A hug to all of you from Betty and Andrea, see you next time! 🙏🏽

I was there for 6 days and just wow ! Best place if you search minimalism, quiet, peace and heartwarming people !!! And the best Pad Thai ! This place was my best experience so far in Thailand. Super small island but so much fun to adventure with bike and the people are all very lovely especially Pa in Pano Resort !

If you want to live an unforgettable experience, then come and see the PANO resort, and get to know the little ladies who manage the place... incredibly kind and simple...I highly recommend it to people looking for authenticity.
