Great room with great service honestly. The host is extremely sweet and nice, invite us to stay and relax with them. Pretty authentic feel, room above the water and had to cross some planks to get to it as well. Very aesthetic place.

Koi Seahouse is a guesthouse where it is good to stay for several days, to enjoy the calm, kindness, humor and kindness of Koi and his family. They do everything to make you feel good, happy to be at home.The setting is exceptional, with a terrace where you can relax on a hammock while watching the sun rise over the sea.A sea turtle, the only one in the bay, comes to sail near the terrace at breakfast.I came there for 5 days at the beginning of January, and I fell in love with it so much that I came back at the end of the month to finish my stay.I can only recommend this guesthouse.

Lovely place, a bit early, quiet, some older people, but a fantastic place to spend the night, the woman who runs this location is super sweet and works hard to get everything done, no fridge in the room, but clean rooms and a cozy atmosphere, large shared outside space and a turtle that comes to say hello every day, definitely worth it to book a few nights again next time, you can't park a scooter nearby and pay parking money to a somewhat older lady at the beginning of the pier who is not really friendly, but that is completely separate from the woman who runs this locationThank you for your hospitality Koi, I am very happy that after a week I stayed on Koh Chang for 2 days and met you. After fishing you took me to this location and then I immediately started driving my stuff up and down. for 2 more days Koh Chang

If you want real Thai style hospitality & simple living with peaceful, clean rooms for a relaxing get away from package holiday hotel and experience this lovely B&B homestay with day to day Thai living all around you , with the hustle & bussle of the working pier & to chill with lovely views over the water and easy access to snorkelling , day trips to the islands or fishing then this is the place to be. You can use the free to use kayaks for a paddle over to the hotel opposite and use their beach and massage , various facilities etc, or just explore the water, just ask the staff for anything you need to improve your stay.We planned on staying one night but Koi , her sister & staff made us so welcome , nothing was too much trouble, even providing an extra charger without us asking, for our mobile phones, tablet etc, bringing fresh fruit daily, we stayed for the week and used as our base to explore the island .There is a simple Thai style decking, with nice views , tables for early morning tea ,coffee, breakfast, with bamboo loungers to relax at any time of day to enjoy cool breeze from the sea, with also fans & Aircon in the rooms with facility, to prepare your own snacks , drinks etc with kettle , tea , coffee, cups , plates , glasses , cutlery and fridge to store any small provisions, and take fresh chilled water to your room, we purchased fresh orange juice, snacks , fresh Thai BBQ chicken from the various street/ pier vendors & real Thai food, & takeaway meals etc during our stay from various local stalls & restaurants along the pier to eat back at Koi Seahouse on the decking area and there is a 7 eleven just a few yards down at the entrance to the pier for anything else you need . If you have a car as as we did, there are car parks on the left & right side of the road as you approach the pier for about 150 bath per day, and if you are on a budget touring around it's ideal but more importantly, this place is real Thai hospitality from Koi & her staff that are working so hard to make your stay as enjoyable & comfortable as possible.

My partner and I only intended to stay in Bang Bao for one night as we transitioned to another island, but after being at the Koi House, meeting Koi and the family, we decided to stay 3 nights instead! The rooms are nice and clean, breakfast served each morning was simple and delicious, the sitting & eating areas have overlooking ocean views, with a beautiful turtle that visits every morning to say hello! Koi was extremely accommodating and helpful, I really felt that she really cared for us and went over and above to ensure we had a lovely stay 😍
