I stayed in the bungalow on the Baan Zen property. Perfect little place for either a single or couple. Super clean and very comfortable, with your own little patio over looking the lagoon.Location is superb! It’s a 3 minute easy walk along the lagoon to get to the beautiful white sandy beach. Close enough to the main road for restaurants and taxis, but far enough away that you don’t hear anything from the road. Its a super peaceful little slice of heaven❤️

My second time at Baan Zen. So relaxing. A great place to spend time with family and friends. It is close to transportation and makes it easy to get around the island. There so is much to see and do. I love the people, the food and the beaches. not to mention the wonderful massages!

Talk about “Off the beaten track”! To get to Baan Zen you turn off the tarred road, down a bumpy dirt road for 50 metres, followed by a dirt track for 30 metres and hidden away in the tropical greenery you’ll find this gem partly built over the Blue Lagoon.The real joy is that it is quiet and hidden, and yet only 100 metres or so from the main road down the island where you can find songtows (literally meaning “two bench” taxis), scooters to rent, laundries, Thai massages, any number of eateries and good stores for your own supplies. Heading in the other direction the long stretch of beach is a short walk about 200 metres away.The home has all western conveniences, but with a highly polished dark wood floor that offers Thai touches so that you know you are not in just another western styled hotel room that could be in any city in the world. It is special.But the piece de resistance is most definitely the front deck. It’s more than a deck. It’s an undercover open sided outdoor living area of peace and tranquility built over the lagoon allowing you to feel that you’re one with the surrounding nature of birds, trees and water. The perfect spot for using the hammock to leave the world behind as you get the most out of your holiday.There are any number of hotels on the island offering a good service, but Baan Zen is different and allows you to soak up the atmosphere of the island away from the crowds while living more like a local.

An awesome place to relax. The accommodations are amazing. Everything you’d want in a house on the lagoon. Beautiful and the owners are awesome. A short walk to a beautiful beach. With great restaurants and activities. I highly recommend Baan Zen.

Located on the riverside, just 3 minutes walk from the beach . Baan Zen is a great place for a couple or family to enjoy a laid back vacation on Koh Chang.After a hard day on the beach, take an evening yoga class at the adjacent Blue Lagoon bungalows or head over to Pilot Bar or Mandalay Restaurant - both on the beach nearby for a sundowner and dinner by the sea.
