Sol Beach

I'm so excited to write this review because Sol Beach deserves the best review. It's definitely a 10/10. We booked 3 nights and stayed for 6 nights because we liked it that much.The bungalows are big and very stylish! If you stay in a beachfront bungalow you can lay in bed and see the ocean at the same time.The staff was exeptional. They treat you as family and you feel at home immediately. They always greet you with a big smile and love to have a chat.The food in the restaurants is amazing too and not too expensive (e.g. latte: 100 Baht, pad thai 160 Baht). You can get vegan or vegetarian dishes. They have happy hour when margs are only 150 Baht.For us it was a hidden gem (we know it's not going to be hidden for much longer) and we would have loved to stay longer!!

Points are brushed up, transportation is inconvenient, cost-effectiveness is low, and public facilities are poor.Advantages: The decoration has just been renovated and is relatively new. When I lived there, I used to drill electric drills every day.shortcoming:1. Inconvenient transportation: The location is remote and there is no village in front or back. There is no hard paving from the main road to the room. You have to walk a dirt road of about 200 meters to the hotel parking lot, and then you have to cross a wooden bridge. From the wooden bridge to the front desk is sandy ground, haha, I dragged it The two suitcases walked nearly a hundred meters on the sandy ground, and when they arrived at the front desk, the wheels were covered in sand.2. The room has low cost performance: the room is very small, and the bed itself is not big. Once the two suitcases are spread out, the room is basically full. Moreover, the privacy is very poor. There is only one meter between us when we go to the next door. There is such a big glass door, and it is easy for light to leak out without sound insulation.3. Poor public space: There is only one public service room, which integrates all public services such as the front desk, restaurant, lobby, and bar. Ha ha. There was nothing else, not even breakfast.Summary: It is a small B&B that was rented out from a former small hotel and renovated. It is useless except for taking photos. How dare you set the same price as a serious three-star resort hotel? ! !

I booked this resort on a recommendation from a friend. It lived up to all expectations. panoramic view of the beach with newly decorated bungalows, bright and airy room, it was very clean and well laid out. Staff were great at the reception and in the Restaurant. The food and drinks offerings in the restaurant would definitely cater for most people and the quality was outstanding.

A place with an atmosphere of light relaxation and tranquility. Great rooms with cozy touches. Comfortable bed, the best smelling pillows and white towels on the island! The restaurant is above all praise! Tasty, beautiful, not expensive!

Best food, presentation, ambience, and service on Koh Chang.

(Pad Thai, spagetti truffle, shrimp avocado fiesta taco)Location a little out of the way but perfect if you want to disconnect.Sports area, paddle, beach volleyball, and relaxation.Everything is sublime and well thought out.
