Al-farizi Homestay

The most beautiful meeting of my entire trip to Indonesia! Heaven on earth!I was welcomed by Izi and his whole family, from the first day I felt at home. His parents, his children, his cousins ​​are adorable!!The accommodation is in the heart of the rice fields in a peaceful and quiet location, with a magnificent sunset. Thanks to Izi and her family I discovered the richness of tetebatu. Izi’s cousin took me to discover the rice fields, the waterfalls and the monkey forest. He explained lots of fascinating things to me.We also went to his garden to pick vegetables for the evening meal. Izi then cooked a delicious meal, using only fresh produce!!The breakfast is excellent and very generous, I recommend the pancakes!!Izi is always there to offer you an activity or something to drink or eat and find you a taxi at great prices!A big THANK YOU for welcoming me and taking care of me! I will never forget the moments of sharing, the games of Uno, the meals, the run with my cousin and other things…This meeting left an impression on me and I will return to this paradise one day!

Lovely homestay in a great location in Tetebatu village. A quiet spot overlooking rice paddies, Izzi and his family do everything in their power to ensure you have a comfortable stay in their home and want for nothing. A great place to escape the crowds...

We've been travelling for nearly 2 months in Indonesia and this homestay is one of the places we loved the most during our trip.Like many other guests pointed out in their reviews, Izi is a wonderful host who will make you feel comfortable and at home from the minute you meet him.He has plenty of good recommendations about what to visit in the area and you can also book a wide variety of experiences with him (we booked two different ones when we were there at a a very affordable price).The rooms are basic but comfortable and really new and you have an amazing and relaxing view onto their rice field.Also, the food they make is amazing. We ate there most of the times during our stay.Kembang Kuning is a wonderful place to visit. At some point when we were coming back to the homestay, a traditional marriage took place in the village, in the streets, and hundreds of people were attending. It seemed that the whole village was there to see the celebration and hear the traditional music. Izi saw us in the crowd and did not hesitate to guide us through the celebration giving us a lot of explanation about what was going on. We were also invited to take a picture with the recently married couple! A very special moment!All in all, I wouldn't hesitate for a second to book this homestay if you are planning to visit Tetebatu area. The service and rooms are great. We had a wonderful time at Izzi's home. It felt like home. We did the traditional village tour with Izzi and his cousin Ale. they drove us through the villages on their scooters. In the evening we did a cooking class. Various family members helped us, especially Mama. The highlight of our stay was tasting the rice wine together. It felt like we were sitting together with friends. Thank you so much Izzi for welcoming us into your home. We will come back :)
