closed. ;( ... maybe didn’t survive covid...there’s a phone number posted on the shop-front, so you could try that.., but the sign and any decor on the front is now completely gone, so it seems deserted.[i marked this as temporarily closed]

Very very clean and cozy place. The host is so friendly. Love them so much. Convenient transportation and place right at the downtown. Definitely come back here next time.

I was really impressed by the kindness of the hostel owner and the priority he put on safety. And for the price, the cleanliness of the accommodation and the privacy of the space were extremely good. If I visit Kanchanaburi again, that's where I want to stay.

An 'OKAY' hostel.There are only 10 beds in this hostel.PROS:+clean hostel+Convenient location+Cold AC+Shampoo and body was in the showerCONS:-Never felt welcomed by the staff. Not even a 'Hello' upon check-in.-incredibly squeeky floors. You'll hear everyone going in or out of the bedroom at all times of the night. Guaranteed.-Beds and pillows are HARD. Beware.-No social atmosphere at all

Stayed here for three nights to explore Kanchanaburi doing day trips.Pros:+ Cheap+ Good location+ Helpful hosts+ Kitchen to use+ Lockers outside dorm+ Attracts chilled out peopleCons:- No hot water at all (freezing showers every day)- The road is SO loud, I had a bed under the window and could hear all traffic, people talking and the baseline from a nearby bar- Toilets/shower in kitchen so lack of changing spaceThey do give you earplugs if you ask but it just did nothing. It was honestly like sleeping on the road. If you can sleep through anything you'll have a good time here but I slept terribly.

I had the best stay at Topae, and ended up extending twice and staying 4 nights because I enjoyed it so much!The hostel isn’t even like a typical hostel, it’s so nice and cosy like a little guest house. There are only 10 beds so it’s never too busy. There’s a little kitchen area where you can cook, and every morning they put out eggs and bread and jam out for you so you can make your own breakfast. There’s a nice dining area so you can go to the market, buy street food and eat it there. And there’s a sofa area to chill out too.The couple who run the place are so nice, friendly and helpful. I had a button fall off my shorts so asked for a sewing kit and the man actually offered to sew the button back on for me!I wanted to get a bus to Ayutthaya and the lady was so nice, she wrote down the routes for the two local buses I needed to take and how much I had to pay. She also called a tuk tuk to take me to the bus stop and told him in Thai where I was going so when I got to the bus station he stopped right in front of my bus.The hostel felt very chilled out and I was made to feel very at home there. It’s also really clean, the couple are always busy tidying up and sweeping the floors.If you want somewhere nice and relaxed to stay I can’t recommend Topae enough! Definitely book in advance because they only have 10 beds available! ❤️

Couldn’t recommend this hostel enough! The staff were so lovely and welcoming and helped with any queries. The owner didn’t mind spending his personal time helping out if we needed anything. You get free breakfast with a choice of Eggs, Toast and Jam. The whole hostel was super clean and the atmosphere was great. Actually sad to be leaving!

A great place. Brand new (August 2019) with 10 beds total. Friendly staff and free breakfast. 200 baht for dorm bed/night.
