Excellent Little Guest House in Kanchanaburi!The owners of the guest house made our trip exceptional. Upon arrival, they inquired about our initial plans and expectations, as well as our next destination. We're incredibly grateful for their attentiveness, as they arranged our train tickets and bus transfer to Ban Pong station (saving us from a planned transfer in Bangkok).On our first day, we toured Kanchanaburi, visiting several landmarks. We saw the Big Buddha, currently in its painting phase of construction. We also visited a Chinese Buddhist temple featuring a striking thousand-handed statue. Another highlight was Wat Ban Tham with its impressive dragon's mouth gateway. Our tour concluded with a visit to the "Big Tree," a majestic 200-year-old specimen that left us in awe.The following day, we explored the Hellfire Pass and Sai Yok (as Erawan was unfortunately closed) and enjoyed a ride on the Death Railway.The owners provided excellent tips on seating for the best photo opportunities, enhancing our experience.The hosts were incredibly friendly, making it an amazing place to stay. Their knowledge and helpfulness truly made our trip memorable.One minor note: the beds were quite firm, which might be challenging for those preferring softer mattresses.Overall, this guest house offered an outstanding experience, combining comfortable accommodations with exceptional service and invaluable local insights.

Enter a calm and secluded Thai oasis.We were welcomed by the friendly owners. They first gave us an overview of everything we can do in the area, including how & when to get there.Throughout our stay they helped us get to the bus station several times, made us breakfast (60 baht), did our laundry (80 baht), and booked a taxi for us when we had to leave early. Amazing hospitality and fair prices.We stayed here for 3 nights. Rooms are clean and serviced daily (new towels, bedsheets, etc.)I would definitely recommend staying here if you want a calm and comfortable stay after being in the buzzing city of Bangkok.

The owner has been a lovely person. We have felt very cared for by her. He helped us arrange transportation to visit the main temples and tourist sites in Kanchanaburi with a tuk tuk that accompanied us all day. He also helped us with transportation to go to Sukhothai. We recommend this place for the hospitality shown.

Excellent welcome with a smile by this charming couple. He kindly transported us to the night market and the bus station. Very good advice and organization for our 3 days of travel. The couple took the time to explain everything to us, with a supporting map. And by booking for us, taxi, bus... Very quiet guesthouse, a haven of peace and greenery. Excellent and plentiful breakfast. Recommended with eyes closed. ☺️

We were delighted with our stay at P.Y. Guesthouse.We were welcomed very warmly in a place filled with greenery and decorations of all kinds.The place is quiet, peaceful, far from the main roads of Kanchanaburi.You are located 10 minutes walk from the night market near the bus station and the same from the “Saturday Night Market”.Well equipped room, air conditioning.The bathroom is adjoining the bedroom but in a covered outdoor patio: watch out for mosquitoes.Breakfast possible for 60 THB simple but effective.Possibility of leaving your luggage during the day if necessary.We were offered a tuktuk service which was unfortunately far too expensive in relation to the trip made. The P. Y. Guesthouse is very nice and quiet with a beautiful and well-kept garden. The rooms are a bit dark but good for sleeping. Unfortunately, the compressors of the air conditioning systems are on the roof, and therefore the devices sometimes roar very loudly when the air conditioning is running in the next room (sometimes all night long.The owner and her husband are very, very friendly and helpful. So we were able to rent 2 motorbikes there for 3 days (300 baht per day) and leave our luggage there to take our tour to the Erawan Waterfalls. The motorcycles were technically in very good condition.The owner also had great tips for excursions in the surrounding area, so taking the motorbike across the river on a small ferry was a little adventure.Communication was no problem with the help of Google Translator.Thank you for the lovely (unfortunately too short) time.

The most pleasant welcome, the rooms are very clean and cleaned every day. Right next door is a very pretty temple, a quiet and pleasant beach, the neighborhood is nice, small daily market, a few restaurants, café, laundromat. I highly recommend

First of all, the location is ideal. In the center of town, but in a quiet, discreet street. It's really lovely. The owners are really very charming and friendly. They gave us a map and indicated the places to visit. They also have very good quality scooters available for hire.The rooms were comfortable and so were the beds. Sometimes perhaps the noise of the air conditioning in the room next door made a little noise but nothing disturbing I spent a very good night. I highly recommend this place and thank the hosts for making us feel so welcome.
