We have already stayed in many cheap guesthouses and bungalows in Thailand, but this experience was the worst!We arrive, it is not very clean, especially in the bathroom where it was not cleaned before our arrival (there are mushrooms that have been growing for a long time as well...).We find huge cockroaches next to the bed, frogs, but that's not much compared to the nocturnal visits of rats... Indeed the bungalows are located next to the sewers, so there are a good number of parasites and bad odors. As it is close to a humid area there are a lot of mosquitoes. But the mosquito net provided has holes everywhere and is repaired with tape...When we went to see the manager to explain to him that there were rats coming into our bungalow, he laughed in our faces then offered us a room 500baths more expensive...In short, the only positive point is the swimming pool. The location is not bad either since there are amenities nearby, the beach 5 minutes walk from the beach but it is very rocky, for those who want to swim without rocks you have to go a a little further.

The bamboo room has several holes where animals can enter (geckos, mosquitoes, snails, etc.), there is no sink in the bathroom and there are a lot of leaks, when it rains the bathroom is all wet and water is falling while we are there.

Avoid the Bamboo Huts, there is no sink in the bathroom, the showers are dirty water, when they work, an old mattress on the floor with broken springs, holes between the roof and walls.||Upgrade to the Resort (next door) for beautiful clean, spacious rooms for very little extra cash.

Don't rent a motorbike in Hatzanda! We rent two difference motorbikes in two days and we had to go service three times! These motorbikes had bad tires and many deffects inside. …

Nowhere in Thailand have we had a bamboo hut with so many vermin. Our neighbors were visited by a rat at night, and a frog and many cockroaches walked across our floor (which is also your bed base). …
