I had a lovely stay there! Very homely and welcoming. The owner was amazing; such a kind hearted soul!The treehouse was also really nice to hang out in.10/10 would recommend if your planning on doing the Thakhek loop! You will get all the help and guide you need

really nice & clean little hostel, has only dorms and is managed and owned by by nong & her mom, the are the sweetest & help you with everything! there is no breakfast included (like some fotos on google maps show) & the location is right in the middle of the centre. they have filtered water for your bottle. only improvement on my side: some curtains for the bunkbeds! apart from that, definitely recommended!

This is simply the best place to stay. Nong is an incredibly kind and helpful person and so is her family. It’s one of the cleanest hostels I’ve ever stayed at and a perfect place to relax, especially the treehouse!Great price, great atmosphere. You will not find a better hostel.I’ll never forget my time there. 10/10

We had a perfect stay at this hostel! Nong was very welcoming and helped us plan the loop on a motorbike we rented there. The place was very clean and the shower and beds were great! We are so happy we stayed here and would 100% recommend!

Nong is absolutely amazing- she goes above and beyond to help make your trip as wonderful as possible! She helped me find a group to do the loop with, rent a scooter, renew my phone plan, exchange currency, and even gave me superglue to fix my shoes that were falling apart… I had an amazing time doing the loop and highly suggest staying at her hostel!💕

It's a small hostel with about 16 beds.The owner likes small talk.It's good to talk with people in the living room.It has a more family atmosphere than other backpackers.There is no mold smell in the room.I recommend it!!!

Definitely one of the most welcoming and kind Hosts I have encountered so far.Easy to talk to, helps you out if you need anything. Only has a few bikes but they are in perfect condition.When you do the loop in rain season, like I did some of the attractions are closed depending on daily water levels, so she kept in contact with the people on the loop to give us updates.The beds don't have curtains, for those that mind, are comfortable and place is super clean.Family runs everything by themselves. Even though the parents don't speak English they always greet you with a kind smile.Regarding other reviews that mention the bus tickets. I don't think there is a scam going on. It was rainy season, we book a bus with Nong, arrive at the station and the bus won't go (because there are not enough people - so not profitable). Most of the time the decision if the bus will drive is very spontaneous. Friends of mine where staying at a different place and went to the station on their own and had the exact same experience (No bus - having to wait).When the bus didn't come and we had to wait, Nong took good care of us and even got us some ice cream.Definitely would recommend this place.

Highly recommend to stay at this place! Nong the owner makes you feel at home. The beds are super comfy, bathrooms really clean and the common area in the tree house is beautiful:) You can book buses over here, laundry service and Nong will give you lots of recommendations for food and for the loop. The location is also good. Definitely coming back here if I'm coming back to Laos!

Perfect Hostel to start the Thakhek loop at. Two brand new Honda waves and also an auto for hire, plenty of information on the loop available. Nong is also the best, as well as her family!

Good location.The rooms were nice and clean. The dorm beds don't have a curtain so there isn't much privacy.The shower facilities are good and well maintained.The owner is extremely friendly and will help you out with anything you need.They provide bag storage whilst you are doing the Thakhek Loop and everything was safe and secure.You can also book your bus tickets through them - our bus to Vientiane was sorted out as well as Transport to the bus station

Hard working family-owned guesthouse, with no external staff. Everything was perfect. Clean, great service, and nice common areas to chat with other travellers (especially the tree house in the garden). Coffee in the mornings and free water. The bikes for rent are of good quality and price too. Would, and really hope to, go back...

The rooms and the rest of the facilities are pretty basic but they thought about all the little important details. Great shower with a strong stream, lamps and plugs next to every bed etc.The reception lady speaks great English and is super helpful. They have a nice common area outside where you can cill.Definitely recommend going there but don’t expect anything fancy. 🙃
