Discreet but super quiet guesthouse. The rooms are huge and luxurious. All for a pittance (250 K). It seems that it is only open on weekends but check.

The guest house is very good, it allows you to be calm. Security, lockable gate. The host is very friendly and offers coffee, tea, bananas, bread and eggs. It is also offered for breakfast. I rode a bicycle. Best price in town.Also, the rooms and the guesthouse itself are immaculate! Important detail: the water heater works very well.We ended up paying 200,000 kips for one night/one person, I'll be back!

Guesthouse a little hidden but which allows you to be calm. The host is very friendly and offers coffee, tea, bananas, bread and eggs. Perfect for breakfast!In addition, the rooms and the guesthouse itself are impeccable! Important detail: The water heater works very well.(I highly recommend the Sabaidee restaurant which is located on the street parallel to the guesthouse)Finally we paid 250,000kips for one night / two people, I will come back!

Warm and friendly staff. Clean rooms. Baguette and jam with 1 fried egg breakfast included. looks like they have opened again. very convenient location in savannakhet . new bicycles for rent cheap at the motorcycle dealer main road intersection. a beautiful litter of very loved black kittens, hope they are still there.

My 6th stay at Joli Guest House, and every one has been a great experience. This is a newly built (3 yrs ago) multi-story building as you can see from the photos. The rooms are furnished with wooden furniture, refrigerator (chest high), television, ceiling fan, air conditioning, hot water shower, and WIFI that works very well - fast and consistent. Free breakfast in the morning includes bread roll, fried egg, juice, coffee, and a seemingly never-ending supply of small bananas.The real reason I stay at Joli Guest House every time I come to Savannakhet? The people that own it are just the kindest people in the world. Joli is a PhD Laotian woman living here with her father (ex-airplane pilot in the war) and mother. There is always someone in the lobby to help with your transportation needs, or offer a banana, coffee, or cold water.There is a large veranda (balcony) over the yard which is nice to sit at and work on the computer.Located within .5 km of Chez Bourne Cafe - the popular air conditioned restaurant with pizza, sandwiches and the essential Beerlao gold. 6 blocks up from the river. In the block directly north of the famous - but oh so shoddy - Leena Guest House.My charge per night was 400 THB in Aug - probably the best deal in Savannakhet considering the location, the people, and the newness of the building.I've stayed in about five other places in Savannakhet. None of them compare in any way. I just feel good at Joli's Guest House. Just show up - they always have rooms.

After two nights spent in a large, very comfortable room at Joli Guest house, we felt a little pang in our hearts at having to leave this charming place, very well located. We had the privilege of being the first travelers following Covid and Lili the owner was lovely with us. Breakfast with crispy French bread, a real treat. Lili, who speaks French, insisted that the cul-de-sac at her Guest house had been redone with the kind participation of other tourists. A beautiful, brand new and clean cul-de-sac. We can only recommend this quiet address. It's like home.

Very welcoming, clean and friendly. I had a great night with my two friends here back in 2013 ( it would not let me select a date that far back ) when the hotel had just been built, I think we were one of the first customers to visit, so I'm very pleased to see that the Joli Guesthouse is doing well!

A large building located near the center. The rooms are spacious and the hotel is very clean. Super maintained by 3 young girls (very young) and an old lady. So far so good. But alas, thatâs all there is to it. âĶ

Bicycle tourist here. Fan and aircon room with very hot water. 115,000kip (12usd). Would stay again, in a heart beat. Very clean and Fantastic!! Amazing guesthouse. It's more like a hotel. The owners speak a little English and are just super friendly. There is some kind of free breakfast, though I have not tried. This is a great place to stay, and I will not search for another guest house in town. Also heard a french man who needed some translation done and the owners made a call for him. Very nice

Any time I now go to Savvanhakhet for my Thai Embassy visits I stay here usually 2 nights, because it is so cheap. I hire a motorbike literally 200 metres around the corner and I can relax, travel to the casino for a good lunch and the room is very quiet. I have stayed here on 3 separate occassions.
