The location is too much inside and a bit far with some restaurant and mall.The room is good but the blanket wasn't much satisfied as it look like not changed, due to they only have one cleaning lady and cannot arrange in time.I suggest to walk-in rather than booking through online. If you walk-in and pay in KIP, you will only cost 30k KIP per person but will cost you around 470 - 500 bath which is equal to (240000 in KIP) when you book through online.No breakfast here.

We spent 2 nights there. The room is so big and nice. The place is not so far from the night market, and so we walked there every evening. Also, there are good cafes and restaurants near the guest house. Overall, it is a good place to stay.

I came in person around 9 a.m. They said there were no small rooms, so they said we would pay 330,000 kip for the biggest room, but since we were two people, we asked for a small room, but all the small rooms were full. So, we stayed in a room that seemed to be a triple room for 280,000 kip for one night. A total of 3 nights in this area. I did it and it seems to be good value for money. I think it would be nice to come if you get a chance.

Located 4 blocks away from the Mekong river. 10 minutes walk away from the night market and park. The owner is very kind and helpful. No breakfast but Laos brew coffee free flow and drinking water free. Especially the room is very big full of luxury teak chairs and sculptures. You can rent motor bikes and bicycles from the hotel. The owner aunty will be guide you which you places you should visit.

I liked everything very much!!! The hostess is hospitable ❤️❤️❤️Very large spacious rooms. There is an air conditioner, a refrigerator, a wardrobe, chairs, a table, a kettle, a mirror. Thank you very much to the owner of the house. You can rent a motorbike or car from her.

Gần các khu vực tham quan tại trung tâm.A good priced hotel in savannakhet. The room is spacious, clean, the owner can communicate in English. Turn about 100m from the main road. There is free coffee and tea all day. There is spacious parking. Close to tourist attractions in the center.

We booked the double room several days in advance for 13 USD for one night since we were taking another bus the next morning. We arrived at the accommodation around 7:00 p.m. There is no reception. There were two girls at the entrance and we told them we had a reservation. One of the girls called on the phone and passed the call on to us. A lady spoke in English saying that she no longer had double rooms, only the triple one and that it cost 22 USD. We told him that we were not going to pay more than the price listed on Booking and after a while of discussion he lowered the price to 17, then to 15 dollars (to which he added the comment, can't you even pay two dollars more? ) and finally when we told him that he would cancel the reservation and we were going somewhere else he told us that 13 dollars is fine. He neither registered us nor asked for our passport.We went to dinner and when we came back this woman was waiting for us to pay her. 23,000 kip for 1 dollar was the exchange rate we received, when in the rest of Laos it has been 20,000 or 21,000.This woman is an ES.TA.FA.DO.RA (SC@M). Don't pay more money than Booking says. Checking other reviews there are more people complaining about this. Do not confuse kindness with the intention of taking advantage of you and getting an extra commission.

Savannakhet is little hidden gem for those who are looking to avoid touristy spots and understand local life. I really enjoyed my stay at the xaythone guesthouse. The rooms are huge and the beds are comfy. The owner is super kind and she even helped me get my jacket that I forgot on the bus back. I would definitely recommend this place!!

We had a good stay! The rooms are large and clean. We were able to check in early because we came by night bus. The disadvantage was that the hostess was the only one around who understood English. We tried with other people there with a translator but that didn't work. The hostess also arranged for the bus to Pakse and that we would be dropped off in the center.
