This is where we took the night ferry to Koh Tao on a Saturday night. (No ferries on sundays nights it seems)Price was 400thb per person and 200thb for a bicycle. The dormitory is ok, bunk bed with sheets, pillows and blankets. And of course AC.The part where the cars can be parked on the ferry is actually used to transport all sort of goods to the island (construction materials, fuel tanks, everything). There was arguments on where to put our traveling bicycles as the entire boat was packed with stuff.Departed at 21h and arrived at 4am. Rough see, boat moving a lot.You can stay on the boat/bed all morning as they take a lot of time to offload.Be prepared for the Koh Tao prices !!!

The ferry does the job and brings you to Koh Tao or back but it takes 6 hours, beds can be just a matrace one the ground and it was raining into mine. I call this a wet transfer. The whole interior looks like a troop transporter from WW2. Though be lucky there is air conditioning in that ferry. My advice: Take the speed boat if you can!

Small beds, small covers, no WiFi, no food or drinkt allowed. It's literally just a small bed and the trip takes like 6 hours, so you arrive at 5 in the morning when everything is still closed. Not recommended, try and get another ferry if possible
