It is very close to the train station and very cheap for a night. If you just want to sleep and then move on, this is a very cheap and clean option. A very friendly and cool couple is taking care of the place. I am happy to meet them.

Very cozy holiday apartments, not far from the train station, about 500 meters. A small family manor house with very friendly staff. Small desk as well as rooms. Not far away from the city, value for money is right

It is an old hotel but newly renovated. Located in the city near Chumphon train station. You can walk about 800 meters. The hotel is near the train tracks so you can hear the sound of the trains all the time. …

Very cheap place to stay at. Small rooms & the beds were a little uncomfortable but totaly okay for the price. We planed to stay there for 3days but sadly i got sick and we had to stay longer which was gladly no problem. It also was no problem to leave my laguage with them when i had to go to the hospital for 3days. They didn't charge anything more for that which was awesome! Also the staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall an okay stay since i also got sick which had nothing to do with the guesthouse tho. So if you wanna stay somewhere basic for little money i would recommend coming here.

Both owners/caretakers are kind and helpful. They booked the ferry to Koh Tao for us at no extra charge with pickup at the hotel.The place has good value and all amenities are in order. The fan room is simple, but clean. Bring or ask for a mosquito net if you are very sensitive, but for me was fine without.
