The atmosphere is very good. Clean, soft white sand beach, good service

The hotel exceeded expectations. We were pleasantly greeted. Neat, tidy area, houses in perfect condition. The staff is very pleasant and responsive. Prices for bikes and food are better than on the road. You don't have to leave the hotel premises. Breakfast, everything you need is there, even sweets. The beach is clean, smooth entry into the water. If you see plastic on the beach, don’t be upset, it washes out of the bay. It can be seen from the bottles that they were in the water for a very long time and were thrown ashore. There is no escape from this. Therefore, the beach is cleaned periodically, which is what we observed. Everything was fine in this hotel. We lived in room #31. Smile more often, be simpler :)

Enough rooms, no luxury, high price.

Ignore the negative reviews that some people wrote! We had a really good time at S Beach Resort! The staff and the owner were so nice and welcoming. The location is just perfect, the resort has its own beach and pier and you can rent kayaks and motorbikes there. The owner even helps you organize your departure and has a cheaper price than 12goasia or other travel platforms. They don’t really offer a vegan breakfast except some fruit. This could be improved! We had a really simple room which was cleaned every day and we got fresh towels and two bottles of water every day! The room was really clean. Yes: The drainage in the bathroom did not smell the best, but what do you expect on a little remote island? The infrastructure is different here. If you don’t like that you shouldn’t come to a small little secluded island. We had a really great time and would definitely come back! Thank you for everything!

The owner is friendly. The staff are very good, the rooms are clean, the food is all delicious. Especially stir-fried squid with salted eggs. Don't miss it. It has everything. Bar cafe, private beach, good atmosphere.Recommend, will go back again.

Perfection. Doesn’t get better than this.We had a “standard sea view“. Comfortable airy wooden chalets in a spacious garden overlooking an absolutely gorgeous soft sand beach. Has a large shaded balcony with chairs and table: a great place to enjoy the sunset.Restaurant is beautifully located over the beach and is surprisingly good value, a large Singha is 85 B for example. Food portions are large and good. Breakfast is excellent and good value at only 100B.There’s a beach bar and the Million Beach bar and cafe down the beach if you fancy a change.This beach is absolutely gorgeous; wonderful soft sand and a shallow sloping sea. There’s good snorkelling in the reef about 100m out. It’s separated from the main White Beach by difficult boulder promontory. This beach is more compact and nicer than White Beach, which is a short but steep road walk away. This is loads nicer than the expensive, cramped Peter Pan lot on White Beach.A river and a breakwater makes going further south difficult. It’s easier by road which also gives you shops and restaurants.If there’s any criticism then there’s not a lot to do around here. Everyone hires scooters. Transport is difficult here, which is a shame.

Stayed earlier this week at this resort. Most commenters here have already covered the issues about the huts and reception service, so other points:- The resort slaps on a 3% fee on CC payments, but does not provide option for PromptPay (QR code payment). This seems grossly unfair and inconvenient.- Under Thai law, private beaches do not exist. However, the way the resort is built, the way they put up disgenuous signs ("Private property, residents only"), and the way they flat out refuse service (food, kayak rental) to nonresidents makes usage of what is legally a public beach unpleasant and even daunting.So while the beach is indeed nice and quiet, if you're thinking of booking this place, please consider the impact of this mean-spirited approach on other island users as well as the smaller businesses on the same beach. It's a pity, because the employees are genuinely sweet and helpful, but the lack of actual hospitality from the management is just appalling and shocking by Thai standards.
